If I could've entered a half star my rating would've been 4 1/2 stars. It would be five, but only time will tell if it is deserving of 5 if it stays sectioned to my windshield longer and better than the one I had before this one. Seems that over time the suction cups lose their grip with sun exposure, won't know for a while if this one does the seem. This one is definitely better constructed than my last one, and the design of the actual phone grip part is significantly better - it accounts for a wider phone with a case, so it holds my phone better. The one thing it lacks is the ability to charge my phone, which the previous one had.

Haven't had it in use very long but here is what I found. Mounting it on a smooth surface with a slight slant downward resulted in it detaching from the dash when heated by the sun. Mounting it on a rough surface that is flat had the same results with my heavily protected iPhone X. Had to find a plcement where the bottom of the phone rested on the dash. This seems to be OK so far. Don't think I will be extending the arm any time soon.

The mobile phone car mount is convenient and easy to use when traveling. It keeps your phone at great eye sight level and is at a great low affordable price.

I figured out all the buttons on the car mount but I had some trouble deciding where to affix it. It’s easy to assemble and snuggly place my IPhone in the cradle. But I couldn’t get the suction cup to stick to the dashboard. I ended up putting it in the left corner of the windshield where it wouldn’t be a distraction.
