My 5 year old boy is OBSESSED with making his dinosaur soap! It is super easy for him to do (adult supervision still recommended at this age, but probably in a year or so won't be necessary), the colors are cute, the molds seem very sturdy, and the dinosaurs end up looking great. We did have some trouble when trying to mix the colors (they didn't set properly and the dinosaur broke), but given it was only the second soap he made (and he tried 4 colors), I'd chalk it up to use error. In short, this is an AWESOME kit, we're having a blast, and if you have a dinosaur lover in your life, it makes an EXCELLENT gift!

The package was good. This was a project for my kids to do while we are in this pandemic. They loves it. The soap thickness was good and they enjoy washing their hands with their soaps!!

Fun for my son to make soap almost like I do. Easy to understand instructions. Molds did well. Ended up using a trimming knife I had as the one sent just wasn't trimming well. I do wish plastic free glitter had been sent. We ended up using some I had for my soaps to add some sparkle. Good colors. The scents would have been fine but, as a soap maker, I had a bunch so we used those.A suggestion: add a note space for kids to write notes about the steps they are taking.

Perfect project for my 4-year-old grandson and me on a Saturday afternoon. I did the microwaving and he did everything else. He loved choosing the colors and the scents. And he is now king of the bathtub with his very own dinosaur soap! Three molds and 6 bars of soap allow for experimenting a bit with colors and scents. And we are making only one bar at a time, so this is an ongoing project making for a lot of time together.

I bought this and several other crafts to do with my Grandsons for a sleepover. With the pandemic I was trying to keep a 10, 8 ,and 5 yr old busy as the outside temp was almost 100 and too hot to be outside! I had 3 different crafts and the boys loved this the best! I actually was hoping to find another with different molds so we can make more next time they stay with me.

This was a great soap kit for my kids. I have never made any kind of soap before. This made it simple. There was a little learning curve for me, had to get soap hot enough to remain in liquid form. I had to microwave longer than directions said. However, once we figured out one dinosaur, the rest were very simple. I have three kids who made soap, we still have enough materials left to do this again. Waiting until their soap disappears in shower/bath before making new ones.

My four-year-old boy had so much fun doing this. They have a very pleasant smell. Great rainy day project. He is doing STEM at preschool and it reminds me of projects he does with that teacher. We liked it so much we bought another set in a different theme.

A very fun activity but also VERY messy! Be prepared to have soap stuck everywhere and you definitely need more containers for melting/mixing the soap. But because it is soap it will clean up with warm water. The scents they include are nasty...we only used coloring and sparkles. Making these soaps has encouraged my 5 and 4 year old to wash hands more since they can use their Dino soap.

These are adorable, fun & easy! My boys ages 4 & 8 loved making them. Easy to clean up after, as they barely make any mess. Some molds were a little more difficult to put/keep together & they didn’t come out perfect, BUT overall an awesome fun craft! A great gift for Dino lovers!

I absolutely love this product and so does my 9 year old son. We had so much fun making the dinosaurs soaps (we did 3 the first day.) It came with all the needed materials and simple and clear instructions. I would definitely buy again!
