This blanket has a very nice weight - it's pretty substantial. The colors are vibrant and the pattern is very clear. However, the pattern does not translate to the other side, which I found to be curious. A benefit of this might be that you can reverse it and have a different look. I would give it 5 stars except that the description says it is merino wool, but I could not find the breakdown of the rest of the fiber content. When I received it, as nice as it is, I was a bit disappointed to see that it is only 25% wool. But considering what I paid for it, I suppose that's not unexpected.

Generously sized and I love the bright colors. I wish the pattern was on both sides

The tag on this blanket says it is 25% wool, 72% polyester, and 3% nylon. It’s thick and very soft and cozy against my arms and legs. However, it feels slightly scratchy against my face and neck, which makes me wonder if the wool component of the blanket is completely from merino sheep. There is definitely real wool in it, though.I love the colors of this blanket - it’s hard to find Southwest designs in cool neutral colors. This would be a great couch/chair blanket, or a porch blanket for chilly autumn evenings.

I really like the pattern on this blanket I'm drawn to things with a south western look. This is a comfortable and warm throw. It is perfect for sitting on the couch enjoying my coffee on those cool mornings in the cabin at the lake. Even though the material contains only 25% of Merino Wool it's mostly polyester it still has the feel and warmth of wool but the polyester keeps it soft and easy to clean. The borders are nicely hammed and it should hold up to repeated use and washings. This blanket lives on the back of the couch at the lake right now but when that season is over it will be on my bed for the winter months. At the price point of $36.99 this is a good value but there is a coupon currently for 20% off bringing the price down to $29.60 making it a great value!

I really like this, I only took one star off because the advertisement said Merino wool, but the tag says it’s only 25% wool. Otherwise, it’s soft, gorgeous and I look forward to artfully displaying it all over my house to let people know I like fancy stuff, haha!

Receiving this in the midst of a Mid-Atlantic hot and humid streak made testing "interesting," to say the least. It worked well to shield me from an overly aggressive air conditioning vent.I imagine I'll use this the most when sitting in a cozy chair while reading on cold winter nights. In summer, it will be nice as a small picnic blanket or decorative couch cover. While not scratchy, I did find that it might lean that way on particularly sensitive skin. I'm pretty sensitive and did notice it a tad, but short of actual scratchiness. This is also a good size to keep in the car during winter as part of an emergency kit in case wintry weather hits unexpectedly.

I love merino wool products. Not only are they great, breathable insulators, but they wick moisture and are odorless. This blanket is made of a fabric blend with a merino wool makeup of only 25% - the other materials are 72% polyester and 3% nylon. It is long enough to nap under, but I do wish it was a bit longer for those of us over 6' tall.

I had hoped for more wool content in this wool blend blanket. I can tell just by touching it that this blanket is primarily synthetic. Wool is great for camping because it insulates even if it gets wet. Unfortunately, this blanket is 3/4 polyester and nylon and is not nearly as warm as I expected. When I camp, I use a sleeping bag and take a throw blanket for extra cold nights or to use by the fire. I just got back from eight days on an island up in the mountains of northern Maine, where I ended up borrowing another blanket because this wasn't cutting it - in mid-August.The pattern is attractive, and my fellow campers complimented the appearance of this throw, but if you are depending on it for warmth, I suggest you keep looking.**After posting this review, I was contacted and offered a refund, as well as shown that the amount of wool is mentioned more prominently in the description now. I must credit someone who stands behind their product, monitors their reviews, AND acts on them. As a result, I have added a star to my review.**

I really like the aesthetics of this blanket. The material is soft and it has washed well with minimal pilling. There were two things that surprised me - the quantity of the blanket made with wool is only 25% and the pattern is only vibrant on one side of the blanket. It would be more accurate marketing to say polyester blanket given that is 72% of the fabric. Overall this is a great value and comfortable blanket. I would order it again.
