I have not been able to access any motion sensing function with this night light. It functions well as a night light, not what I bought it for.

Plugged into wall outlet in bedroom. Light stayed on all night. Did not appear to be motion activated but instead was designed to go on when dark and go off when ambient light was strong enough. Not what was advertised. I suggest you only purchase if you want a auto night light not a motion activated night light.
