I shave my head every spring before it gets hot. I liked that the Remington 18 piece Vacuum set gave me a close quick cut without me having to go over the same spot many times. Although the vacuum part worked there was still quite a bit of hair on the sink. I do not think it vacuums quick enough when cutting. Also, the edge of the cutters are very very sharp and I could feel it pushing on my head. I will continue to use, and maybe see if I can attach tighter and have the vacuum work correctly. These clippers are very lightweight and I live that they suck up the hair as you trim . I wish they had the 1,2,3,4 numbers instead of 1/2 inch , 1 inch and so on . I really misjudged and cut my husbands hair way too short . I think these are great for I between hair cuts to keep your cut looking fresh or for the person with pretty short hair . I say this because if you need to take much off you are emptying the clippers way too much . Overall they do a great job for at home hair cuts . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

my husband loved using it to cut his hair and my son hair.

At first the product worked great! It was cutting the hair, vacuuming it into the air chamber. The downside was you had to stop multiple times to empty the chamber. It was also noisy and bothered my child. When we tried using it a second time, it kept pulling on the hair, hurting. Had to clean it out, and add the oil again to the blades. It also blew out the smaller hairs instead of containing it in the chamber. Even though we had a few mishaps, I would recommend this product and/or buy it as a gift. I'm not a professional hairstylist by any means. Just got tired of paying $17-$25 for my toddler son's haircuts (which weren't that great to begin with) and wanted clippers so I could do it myself. Hair still gets everywhere even with the suction (that's the only real negative I can think of), but I have my son sit in the bathtub so I can clean things up easily afterward. Otherwise, it's easy to operate and does a decent job if you have decent judgement in terms of what looks straight and such. Nice extras included for the money.

Just 4 stars as this clipper is a bit noisy. Otherwise, really like the easy clean up, even clipping, and light weight of clipper.

Really quality clippers, the Vacuum works really well. It wont get 100% of the hair but gets pretty darn close. Really makes a difference and saves time.

Vacuum chamber works great. Very little cleanup need afterward. Clippers pull hair a little more than a typical pair. Just need to move clippers slower.
