This is the cornerstone of my gym equipment - a cheap bag filled with sand! It is really tough for me to lift though, and feels more like a natural muscle motion than a dumbell. I'd recommend it!Only thing is you gotta go out and buy a bag of sand to fill it with. Feels really sturdy, though, and hasn't leaked any sand for me.

As we all know it's very hard to get traditional weights right now, and lots of are going to be spending a long lonesome winter indoors. In preparation, I ordered this sandbag set out of the many options on Amazon - I'm not sure if its better/worse than the others but it has worked great for me. I'm not doing any crazy lifts or swinging it around like a madman, just curls, squats, lunges, etc. It has held up great for a couple of weeks with 4x 10 lb bags inside.FWIW in my case I bought one of those play sand bags from Home Depot and it filled 4 3/4 bags to the top. At some point I may go fill up the sixth, but for now I have only tested it with 4 full bags. No issues with durability or leakage thus far.

There are multiple straps, very comfortable on the shoulders, customizable for any weight desired between 10 and 60lbs.

I like lifting this and doing a 300m walk. With the smaller bags filled it was not comfortable so i just du ped all the sand in to a plastic trash bag and zipped it up. Now i love this 60lbs bag.

I'm a member of a Rucking Crew. We use these bags for our WOD and for the ruck. I also use mine at home as a general workout tool. It works great and seems to be holding up well so far.
