[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instruction booklet was pretty useless in terms of giving any instructions. I tried it on the lowest heat since I had no idea what would be best and did not want to burn off my hair. It is simple to use but I wish there were recommendations for what is a good heat setting. It heats up extremely fast but also auto shuts off quite quickly too. The smaller barrel did curl at 240, but it was more of a natural wave look than tight. It lasted for a couple of hours. It great that two barrels exist as options. The swivel type of chord is great, I like the heat resistant glove a lot. I kind of wish there were two with one having grip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The curler did well with the smaller wand setting but the larger wand setting it did not curl my hair at all The curler is easy to operate and came with a heat glove which is great to keep from burning fingers It was easy to change the barrel sizes

I bought this because of the great reviews...but this has such a horrible design. I don't understand how folks had a great experience with this - especially for the price! The expandable barrel eventually collapses back to its smallest size, but not without taking a chunk of your hair first! Thankfully, Target let me return this. My hair kept getting stuck/ripped out of the barrel. Also, because the barrel expands, there are obvious (and embarassing) indents in your curls. You're better off with a regular $20 curling wand. I only gave this one more star because it has auto shutoff and easy temperature buttons.
