This was the perfect gift for our construction loving son!

When you are buying a toy for your grandchild it really only matters if they love it. And he did. But I have quibbles about the design. The battery compartment floods with the slightest sprinkler overspray or rain blown under the patio cover. Not a great feature for an outdoor toy. But the sound effects didn't add much to the play so it doesn't matter.

Got this for my 3 year old grandson who loves excavators and he loves it so much! I very much recommend.

My almost 3 year old loves this! Just arrived. Super easy to assemble, just a few snaps. Didn’t come with instructions because it’s so easy to snap together. Fully functioning arm and boom. And surprised me with SOUNDS! Didn’t know it did that! Takes 3 AA Batteries underneath the machine. Helmet fits my son perfectly fine and he’s a happy bout! My 6 year old even wants to play with it. Highly recommend for construction obsessed kids like mine. Very happy

I found it hard to believe the glowing reviews when I read them. The product is sturdy, sure, but what on Earth made it so popular with kids? I couldn't figure it out -- and to be honest, I still can't. All I can say is my 3-year-old grandson thinks it's fantastic. Good enough for me.

My son loves to play with his tractor if tv is not on ;) It was easy to assemble, sit on it and fun to enjoying playing it. He thinks he’s little construction dude. Hat keeps falling off from his head but he doesn’t care about it at all.

My 21/2 year old loves this more than his 6 volt rideable quad. He likes to ride it all over the house and outside. He likes to put things in the bucket of his backhoe manually. The noises are a bonuses. I’m really glad I got this for him

Absolutely his favorite present for his 2nd birthday. Great build quality. The wheels actually turn when you turn the steering wheel. That's a nice touch.
