I gifted to my nephew and he and his cousin love the tractor. I wished the sounds are louder because it is hard to hear and the arm is a bit too hard for the kids to use. Otherwise it was a hit with the kids.

We ordered this for our grandson's 1st birthday and didn't make him wait for the big day. He was so excited when his daddy unboxed and put it together - which took mere minutes. We have only used it inside the house with adult supervision, and he hasn't learned to "drive" it himself yet, but we have all had lots of fun with it. Grandson is learning to climb on and off and to hold on tight to the steering wheel when we push him for a ride. He is not actually walking yet, but he will push this excavator and "walk" along with it. He loves lifting the seat to see what is in the storage area underneath. One of the two boulders? Something else he put in there earlier? Or did somebody hide a surprise in there? He is getting the hang of pushing the buttons to make the various noises - engine start, a rumbly dump truck sound, back-up beep, and the horn. Also there are volume control buttons, but I don't think you can turn the sound all the way off without removing the batteries. Actually scooping up a boulder with the bucket appears to be tricky - we shall see. For now, we just put the boulder in the bucket, and he is happy. The seat is not firmly attached, and the little tabs sometimes pop out of their slots when he exuberantly puts the seat up and down. Hopefully, the seat and this toy will last for a good long while.

Birthday gift to great grandson. Loved it and really easy to sit on and make go with feet. Only problem is the excavator shovel comes off too easily but it is a fun toy
