Mine came with splits in the wood. There was screws missing. The latch to open and close the lid was bent so oddly that I can’t use it to open or close the lid. I now have to purchase a new latch set from Home Depot, for around 200$ this is a POS. It’s weak, very flimsy and I’m upset I put so much money into something they could sell at dollar tree. What the hell you guys, please be honest in your product details. This box is NOT worth it.

Although this is a beautiful piece, the teak finish is lovely, however the craftsmanship is poor. The screws are all one size too big hence they do not screw in flush. The top of the piece was split apart on one corner when the shipping box was opened but the shipping box was not damaged. This leads me to think the damage existed before shipping.

I was excited to get this, because of the teak wood however it is thinner than expected and I hope it last; I will have to make a canvas cover because the salt water and air just damages everything. It’s pretty but frustration was my first thought, first it came cracked but I’m handy and fixed w wood glue and a clamp- easier than shipping back. Then second, what would of been a branch hole was right where the screw went; again hope it doesn’t cause weakness. Then third, the hinges don’t line up nor do the screws provided fit. I feel they are wimpy so just decided to leave off. I just wanted this to store outside furniture covers when using the furniture. Price was right but then that’s what you get...
