Even though the handle bars can be lowered or raised I would definitely recommend this for older kids. This scooter has a little weight to it. You can definitely tell that this scooter was built to last. The material this is made out of is very durable and sturdy. This scooter was a little challenging to put together. Some of the screws were extremely tight and hard to loosen. The only thing I don’t like about this scooter is that you cannot fold it down when not in use. That would have made it so much easier to store and travel with. Other than that, this is a really great product and I highly recommend it.

The Rail RX Pro Kick Scooter is a great choice. My kids enjoy every time they use the scooter, and they want to use it every day. From home to school or just when taking a walk. It’s light weight so they can easily take it anywhere. Easy to assemble and the gold color looks great.

It wasn't the easiest to set up and I don't particularly like that the handlebars need to be attached rather than one molded piece of metal. It also doesn't fold and is not height-adjustable. However, that may make it a bit more sturdy because we used to have to constantly fix the height of our old scooter and it was tricky to unfold. It's a good height for our 9-year old and will probably work for him for another year or two.

He’s been using it about a week now and my only complaint is that the grip surface on the base of the scooter is already bubbling up and starting to peel on the edges.
