Washed 9 times. the smell will not come out no matter what product I use to neutralize the formaldehyde. I liked the cut, fit, collar, color. Too bad I have to give it to charity now. Or just burn it up.

**UPDATE** Smell NEVER GOES AWAY. I’ve washed it, soaked it in white vinegar. Nothing works. Such a bummerI bought the black denim jacket and the other reviews mentioning the smell are 100% correct. It almost smells like burnt hair? And it doesn’t go away even after washing it. Not sure if all the jackets smell, or just the ones that are heavily dyed?

Better off buying a brand name. Do NOT order the black jacket. It bleeds ALOT after many washes and still smells terrible. The dye comes off on your hands if they are wet! NOTHING gets the smell out.

Cute jacket but the black denim stinks like a chemical sulfur smell. I thought I would be able to wash away the smell. I was very wrong about that. It also shrunk due to the multiple washings. Now it fits like a crop length jacket and isn’t cute anymore. Total waste of money since black denim is known to have a smell associated with the dye process and it can’t be washed out. I wish I had know this before purchasing.

Love th denim jacket

The second I tried this on I thought it was cute but my shirt was COVERED in black fibers and dye. I tried to hand wash it in the tub and the water turned BLACK! I filled the tub with water 4 times, still shedded dye, and then attempted to dry it in the dryer on a low setting. The inside drum of my dryer was COATED in black fibers and dye, I had to spend over an hour cleaning it out before I even felt confident running some dark clothes through it! I ended up tossing it without ever wearing, it dyed my hands black even just pulling it out of the dryer! Wish I could get my money back for this awful experience!

The material looks very wrinkled all the time!Wish I would have returned it!
