Replacing smoke detector batteries is never fun, but it can be a nightmare when the batteries that you buy don't fit. I tried two other brands of Lithium 10 year batteries that were too large and wouldn't fit into the smoke detector because the corner of the battery were too boxy. I love that the corners of these batteries are slightly rounded and best of all, they are soooo easy to push into the smoke detector. I'm so happy I decided to try the Amazon Basic brand. This is the only brand of smoke detector batteries that I will ever purchase!

Inhave a few detectors up on a high ceiling and am tired of the batteries dying. I have to use a 12 foot ladder to ge to them and I'm past the age for high wire acts. Pricey but worth the cost for this use.

The packaging is absolutely safety-based, no expense spared: each battery is wrapped and slotted into its own section in a heavy-duty carboard box. Fantastic start.I've only installed two in a music instrument and it's working fine.I'll update my review as time progresses. So far, highly recommended.

These outlast regular name brand batteries in a smoke detector that eats them like crazy, for about the same price as a regular 9v.

These are the best lithium batteries I've found so far. I used the Energizer Lithium before, and they didn't last very long.I tested all 12 batteries when they arrived, each one was 9.64v +/- 0.1v with a couple of them as high as 9.66v. I installed 10 of them in smoke detectors and after 2 years, they are all still running fine. I just tested the 2 that I put in storage and they have not changed at 9.64v +/- 0.1v. Awesome!Highly recommended!

When I got these battles I checked the level power, both where completely charged and the batteries are working great.

Amazon makes just about everything I can think of and fully supports there movement! From batteries to clothes and I’m also a shareholder!! Amazon if you see this, feel free to have me sample out anything new you start making and I will promise to leave an honest opinion on whatever it is. By the way. So far so good on the 9 volt battery! No limits to Amazon’s moves creating them a huge asset to consumers and any government contracts they have inline.

I needed a lithium battery to replace the fire alarm battery in the shop after resetting it twice a day for a couple months because I just hate messing with fire alarm batteries. Some of them go into full blown fire alarm mode as soon as you remove the old battery, and it's completely ear and nerve shattering. This Amazon basic battery fit perfectly and no more beeping every 8 hours. A small victory in Gilda's life of just one thing after another :)

I ran a capacity test on one of these, using a constant 60 milliamp load (0.060A). The result was an outstanding 1,148 milliamp hours! The battery didn't drop below 7v until the 1,025mAh mark (with the 60mA load). At lower loads, you could probably squeeze 1200mAh out of these. For comparison, an Amazon Basics Alkaline 9v gave me only 535mAh total and dropped below 7v at about 350mAh. Now, the Lithium batteries are about 3.5x the cost for 2x the capacity, so the Alkaline are a better "cost per mAh" if you don't mind changing batteries. But for low drain items, hard-to-reach items, or intermittent use items that sit in a drawer for long time -- I find the extra cost of the Lithium worthwhile. The combination of long shelf life, high capacity, better low-temp performance, and near leak-proof construction has me sold on these. Since Amazon doesn't specify the capacity in the product listing, they could change the specification at any time -- but I can say that the current product is a real winner!

I have never changed the battery in a smoke detector in such a short time. Incredibly disappointed in these,
