The U-Fly phone mount is infinitely adjustable. You can twist it in most directions for the best position. The tension springs are good, but could be stronger, in my opinion. The quality seems a little flimsy, but will certainly do the job. I worry that twisting it into position might snap off a plastic gear tooth. I have it clipped to a shelf above my computer desk to use my iPhone as a webcam.

Kind of depends on which airline you’re flying. And then which kind of travel tray you have in front of you. Because I was on a delta international flight and this did not work in the way that the picture indicates but I did get it to work. It’s a little awkward to open. Feels like you’re gonna break it. I was hoping to use it more than I did. I guess if you’re a frequent flyer, it would be helpful. It’s small to travel with and I might use it on other flights.

I bought this product because I travel every month to different countries. I'm always on planes. Since I bought this product I was very happy, but my joy did not last long. The product is excellent, and fully does its job. The problem is that the designs of the airplane seats have changed and it is a bit difficult to place and in some airplane seatbacks it is impossible. I have only used this twice on my last trip but loved how I didn't have to hang onto my phone to watch movies on the plane. Previously I had purchase an adjustable thing that holds your phone and goes around your neck. While this works well, it can be kind of a pain to have something wrapped around you in order to hold your phone. There are some limitations to what this will grab onto but on a normal airplane, you should be able to find something that will suit your needs. I wouldn't travel by plane again without it!

Aside from not liking my phone case, this is a fantastic product. The case can slip out of the grip. Also, my work table is too thick to clamp it to but, since it's stable enough to stand on it's own, I don't mind that.

Worked great and even attached my little fan. Plane was very warm. Only thing that could be in improved is a shorter arm or one that tilts back farther. If the seat in front of you reclines a couple inches the phone is more forward and needs to tilt back. Overall good product though.

This item works well but flight attendant told us any device that attaches to the plane is not allowed and we had to take it off the seat back and use it in another mode in the tray table.

it did work to hold my phone in front of me with the tray table closed during the flight but the down side is if you try to flip it upright it doesn't go back enough so the screen still tilts down about 10degrees--if you have it downward it can tilt up but then you still are looking down the whole trip...basically kept me from dropping my phone when i fell asleep so i count that as a win

I used this last week during my round trip flights. It was great to hold my phone but there were 2 issues. I found it hard to slide the clamp part open. It was really tight. Also because of the thickness of the trays on Southwest, I could only put it in 2 places....closed I used it at the top and open I had to put it on the metal bar behind the tray. Any other place and the tray was too thick and I couldn't open the clamp that wide.
