The toy is very poorly constructed. The components that open and close are not fit properly. Therefore, when the toy is converted into a fire truck doors don’t stay shut. Prime examples are the yellow and green doors on the rear of the drivers side of the truck. They flip open easily because it seems that the tabs that are used to secure them closed are not long enough. This issue is present upon opening the package. We’ve had the toy for less than a day. What I Can are happening is that the does will fly open while my son is pushing around the fire truck and they get caught on something and break off. For $60. I expected better construction. Something more along the lines of little people construction. You are definitely only paying for the coco melon name.

The side door doesn’t shut… even by adults. It stays slightly out and my toddler definitely can’t shut it. The truck bed opens but will only stay up if the slide is input, which is too difficult for a toddler so if they are impatient, like a toddler is, it will frustrate them. The doors to the main truck part are flimsy and it’s hard to get the people in it. Poorly designed for a toddler toy.

This was not a well thought out toy design. The sounds are good and not annoying, but the ladder snaps in and out and will do so. The lid that opens to transform the top only remains open with the 2 piece pure slide and WILL snap shut down on its own if not supported immediately (which small children are not known for, so there are many snapped fingers in this house)

Several features advertised that were selling points to us do not work in reality: 1) the truck top opens up but does not stand, constant drops shut on my kid’s hand which is a safety concern to me, 2) The slide is difficult to install, kid can’t do it themselves, 3) ladder does not click or attach anywhere, it’s just placed wherever so you have to hold it with one hand and play characters perhaps with another. Cheap not worth the price. Want to return!
