They definitely block the sun!

I really like that these hats roll up and can be thrown in the bag. They are a little small for my head but still work fine because the Velcro piece is big enough. Mine got wet the first time I used it and I was a little worried but when it dried it was just like new. I like that they keep the sun off my face and neck when I am at the pool with grandkids.

I like the large brim. After have cancer on my nose I need shade protection along with using sunscreen. I will have add a longer velour to get a better fit. They fit as is it I wear my hair up. }i{

I would have given it a 5 star if not for the shabby finishing on the red had. Black thread was used to attach the bow to the hat. The back of the bow attachment also looked very unprofessionally done. However it works and blocks the sun from my face.

I definitely like these hats for blocking the sun. I would actually love a bigger brim bc I work outside and garden a lot. They are easy to travel with because they roll up and have their own bag. You do need to be carful with the wind and make sure to attach the string bc it will blow off lol but other than that these are great!
