I’m giving this three stars because of price. It’s listed at $159.99 but I got it during a flash sale for $109. It’s worth $50-75 max. It’s a nice piece but not as nice as the price tag might lead one to believe.

I found this item doesn’t drain well at all even if you drill a hole in the corner as the instructions suggest. I found it not for what I needed it for.

No drain holes! I had to go get a neighbor with a drill bit and it was a whole thing. Easy enough to assemble and working well now that it’s up and ready. But c’ mon. Manufacture with holes as they are virtually impossible to put in at the purchaser’s level!

A little disappointed as the color is far from what’s advertised. I didn’t get brown at all. It says brown on the box but it’s black. It does not look as modern/high scale as the photo. I was utter disappointed. If I could get it back apart I would return it. The screws definitely don’t seem rust proof. The planters have no drain holes. A bit disappointed for the price.

I have a bad back and not a whole lot of room on the patio for a lot of containers. I normally grow 3-4 herbs year round that I use frequently when cooking (parsley, thyme, oregano & rosemary). Since I'm in Texas, I usually only have to drag the pots under the carport when it freezes or snows to protect them. We had a vicious winter storm in February and it killed all my herbs. So this year I decided to investigate using a vertical planter vs. multiple individual pots on the ground. I love the idea of this. The instructions left something to be desired, but it figured it out and put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. Took another 5 to fill the container boxes with soil, and another 5 to add my herb transplants. I was disappointed with how deep the container boxes are. Most other listings stated their containers were 6" deep, which is nowhere deep enough for a growing herb or other plant if you don't want to water every single day in Texas summers. I thought I read somewhere in the comments that this one was 7" or 8" deep so I spent the extra money and bought it. I'll try to attach a photo later so you can see how small the planer is compared to a human. Right now I'm only having to water every other day, but as the herbs grow, daily watering will become necessary (something I hate). I really prefer to water my outdoor plants only every 2-3 days if I can help it. What can I say, mosquitos, heat, sweating, etc. aren't my cup of tea. It seems pretty sturdy, so that's a plus. As other reviewers state, there are no holes in the bottom of the containers for drainage, so I borrowed my hubby's DeWalt drill and used a small drill bit to drill 2 pilot holes in each container, then used a larger drill bit to enlarge the holes to allow for water to drain out. I would advise doing pilot holes to prevent any type of accidental cracking in the plastic.

My wife and I did a lot of research on similar products before settling for this one. We were excited to receive it, primarily for herbs. So here it it. Good packaging Good unboxing Too many parts for assembly Could have put stickers on parts for ease of assembly. Not as solid of a product as we expected. Things move around - see video. May be intentional- don’t know The company says we listened to our customers and stopped drilling drain holes. They just eliminated cost by reducing a process. The product still comes with drain plugs.
