Its a good gift and overall, I'd buy it again but there's a few second lag between hitting the pad and hearing a sound. My husband is a drummer and its enough for him to not like using it but for a non drummer or child (for which this was intended) its fine. There is also no charging cord included. Does it take batteries? A cord? I'm here confused like... thats basic stuff, lol. Im happy and im sure we could find a compatible cord in the house but it's strange nothing came with it.

It is what it is advertised to be. I was hoping to use for more professional projects, no way. I does what it is suppose to do. It would be fun for kids. The pads are not touch sensitive. I will return it, but it is not a bad product for what it is.

The sound out of this is absolute crap. Tried it with headphones, crap. Tried charging the battery to the tilt, crap. Tried it low volume, crap. Tried exchanging it in case the unit had been damaged somehow, same crap. The distortion is very digitized and caused hearing damage at modest levels, it's very harsh. No way I'd subject my kid to that and invite a lifetime of hearing loss. I could feel my ears burning, and the volume wasn't even up. It looks great, it has neat features. It has mediocre response to the strike, sometimes you hit it and nothing happens. For the price, there are better products. If all you want is a fun toy, there are cheaper alternatives.

Very nice drum set with good build and sound quality yet there is no option for a lefty flip which made this set not very useful to me.

The product is sold as a roll-up drum pad, but the instructions warn that rolling it up may damage the pads. Pedals seem lower quality, im not expecting them to last long. Sound quality is not bad but the volume is way too loud at the lowest setting, and the attached speaker sounds like garbage at anything past half volume. It does have a lot of different drum sounds, with decent headphones it can be fun.
