Very cheap plastic parts that will break.

I've owned 2 LucidSound headsets for Xbox. First one stopped charging after a year (and plastic piece cracked on the side). Customer service didn't care. Second one the plastic cracked on both sides where you adjust for head size in under a year. Lucking I bought the SquareTrade 3 year warranty. They said it's unrepairable, so a check is in the mail. I won't buy another LucidSound headset as they use cheap crappy plastic. My next headset will be an Arctis 9X.

Audio cutting out constantly

I waited a full year and a couple of release date push backs. I would be fine with that if they worked. For the price and the brand, I would expect the product to work. My buddy, that I game with, ordered the same set at the same time. He is having the exact same issue with the audio cutting out constantly that I am having. So, it is not just a one-off instance with a defective headset. I'll be returning these and finding something else. My first experience with Lucid and they failed in meeting my expectations.

Audio cutouts and cheap plastic that broke

Constant audio cutouts and reconnecting. All audio dropa for about 5 to 10 seconds several times an hour. Then you have to wait for it to reconnect. It's extremely annoying when you are in the middle of a battle and relying on your mic and it goes bye bye. The biggest deal breaker is that they broke... The plastic piece that connects to the band completely shattered when i went to put them on. I have only had these a few months and i barely use them. Extremely cheap design. Don't buy

Mediocre

Coming from what I would consider a mediocre headset with terrible controls, TurtleBeach 420x, this is a step below mediocre. The range is terrible. 10ft? Come on. Cuts in and out from my couch. With my 420x I can walk down stairs to the opposite of the house and not lose connection. The creature comforts are nicer on this headset, the advanced controls with muting and game vs. chat sound is fantastic, but when the headset doesn't consistently work as a headset, those features are worthless. I want to love Lucid products but they always disappoint me with their inconsistent base line functionality.

A PC for a firmware update is required before you can use these.

Received these January 5th 2019. Lucid sounds is still shipping these out without the latest firmware so they won't work when you first received them. You will have to update these before you can use them. My PC is currently away for repairs so I can't update the firmware. So I had to return them. Lucid should mention in the item description that their product requires a firmware update before you can use it. Ordering this was a big water of my time. Oh and the headphones do not come with the hard case anymore. The one that I received them returned only had a a soft pouch case.

Do not buy!!!! I repeat do not buy!!!!

Do not buy this headset I repeat do not buy this headset. at first it connected to my Xbox no problem I can hear wirelessly no problem. Then lost all sound from the Xbox. The microphone was working I can hear myself. But I had no volume through the Xbox. After rebooting the headset. Updating the firmware. Reconnecting. I still couldn't hear it. I rebooted multiple times got the headset to work again. Then it stopped working all of a sudden. Mid-game it no sound. After that the headset would not charge. I sent it back to get my money back

Great Sound. WORST Bluetooth I have ever experienced.

As someone who does not write reviews, after the 15th time of my headset disconnecting within the past 5 minutes, this headset is infuriating. It will constantly lose connection to the xbox one even though I am sitting within 7 FEET with no obstructions. It should not be part of my daily routine to walk my headset out of range in order for it to establish a better Bluetooth connection from the console. Again sound quality is great when the headset maintains a connect for longer than 30 seconds. At close to $200 headset, I should not be having to troubleshoot routinely. (7 feet is not an exaggeration. It has been measured)

Literally falling apart after 6 months.

From a pair of headphones this expensive you would not expect them to literally fall apart after 6 months. (Note- the other reviews addressing the drop out of connection have covered that subject, so I will not repeat the issue, simply confirm it happens on a regular basis). After 6 months, the plastic pieces at the top of the ear pieces below the headband have either cracked or fallen apart. Avoid this product at all cost. Seriously, I would have paid someone 50 dollars to avoid spending 180 on these. That would have been a net gain of 130 dollars and a great deal of frustration avoided.

Horrible quality for the price!

I normally don't review products, however I feel that consumers should be aware of the poor quality. First of all let me start by saying these are good sounding headphones and I really liked them. However the build quality is horrible. I own the qc35 and h9i and those are kept in cases just like these ls35x so none of my headphones are abused what so ever. I noticed that the plastic pieces on the headphones have started to crack. In my opinion that should not be happening 6 months into ownership of the product especially when you are paying 180 for them.

High quality build. Low quality connectivity with sound drops and chat disconnect.

Was really hopeful for a wireless headset that works for my Xbox One X. Worked for one week and started to get long audio drops and voice chat cut out during gaming sessions. I contacted lucid sound directly and got one response via email. I emailed back right away and over a week later I did not get a response. I updated firmware before even connecting to the Xbox. I called lucidsound via phone and they basically want me to connect to different Xbox’s out of my home. Very inconvenient and customer service is not so good. I guess it’s back to the drawing board finding a wireless headset for Xbox.
