Overhyped! Surround Sound: pretty much non-existent compared to competitors (even the turtle beach 600's provide more accurate surround). In-game noise is purely that... NOISE! It's not distinguishable. Comfort: the ear-cups are excellent and superior to all headphones I've tried however, after time they get a little heavy and incur neck pain after almost every use. The headband provides perfect comfort however, its not tight enough and as a result, find myself adjusting the fit - more so as I sometimes wear glasses when gaming. Sound quality: Unimpressed with the quality and SL don't provide an EQ to balance settings in-game. Undesirable bass tones with over powered high-mid range frequencies that don't allow adequate bass to channel through. Background noise is also irritatingly loud and seems to echo through the large cups! This is a real bug-bearer of mine as most head phones within this price range cancel background noise. In hindsight, I should have went for the A40's but got sucked in with the online reviews!

Vom Klang, Aussehen, Tragekomfort und den Funktionen finde ich das Headset prima. Ich hatte es zweimal für ca. 100€ ergattern können. Leider war bei beiden Headsets der Button in der linken Ohrmuschel lose und hat beim Bewegen des Kopfes immer ein leichtes Schnarren erzeugt. Ich vergebe aber hier nur zwei Sterne, da ich auch beim Flagschiff von Lucidsound dem ls50x Probleme mit den Buttons hatte. Hier waren sie wiederum wie verklemmt und später hatte ich mit dem LS50x (Ersatzgerät) auch zusätzlich noch Verbindungsprobleme. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass hier bei Lucidsound die innere nicht mit der äußeren Qualität mithält, sodass ich jetzt erstmal einen Bogen um diese Firma mache. Aber es gibt bestimmt auch Kunden, die sehr zufrieden mit der Marke sind. Vielleicht hatte ich einfach nur Pech.

Let me start off by saying these sound and perform great, very comfy and really easy to use.... however! As you can see in other reviews, the swivel connectors are flawed and WILL crack/break regardless of how careful you are. I have swiveled the cups maybe twice in all the time I've had them, but cracks started to appear within a short few month. I reached out to LucidSound and requested they supply replacement swivel connectors so I could replace/repair myself. That was 6 month ago. They fobbed me off with logistic problems for 4 month, then simply stopped responding to the ticket. These parts are 2.5cm wide and less than 1cm deep, two of them could fit into a small envelope no problem. I fail to see a logistic problem in this? I would avoid and stick with a supplier that has support in the UK.

Feels solid and comfortable, sounds great, terrible connection problems - it often disconnects for seconds at a time, and crackles as well.

The distance I can move away from my xbox before audio cuts out is less than half the advertising distance.

love the headphones but everyone is right about the sound dropping and reconnecting a ton. havent had a chance to really appreciate the headphones because of it.
