THE EXTERIOR SOUND CANCELING IS NOT HEAVY DUTY WHICH IS GOOD AND THE GAME SOUNDS OF DOGS BARKING THAT YOU NEVER HEARD IN THE GAME BEFORE MAKES YOU TAKE OFF YOUR HEADSET BEFORE YOU REALIZE ITS IN THE GAME - AWESOME SOUND!!

Great sound and comfortable to wear. Even with glasses. Power button is an issue as mine sticks in when pushed and has to be knocked on to get it to pop back out to work.

(Updated March 2020) I've owned these since launch. The audio quality is superb, it can reach higher volumes than other well-known brands, and chat quality is great when using the boom-mic or the internal mic. Audio controls are still a bit inconvenient and mic monitoring is on the quieter side. Overall, it's a great headset. You might run into issues if you use it near a router, though. When I do, I'll hear cracking noises and cut-outs due to the interference. I used these about 3 feet from a mesh Orbi router and the interference was unbearable. After moving the router, there was no more interference. Just a tip if you experience this!

The sound quality and design of this headset is awesome. I love the "turn dial" design for volume control and that the frame is made out of metal, rather than plastic. The only issue I have with this device (and it could simply be an issue with my Xbox) is that the headset with periodically glitch out and audio and voice will cut out momentarily and it'll do this numerous times in a few minutes, then it will level out and be okay. All-in-all, this is a great buy and I'd definitely recommend it.

The sound is very good, you will not buy better sounding Xbox one gaming headsets in this price range. These are very comfy. Battery is just okay. however the audio drops quite a bit & can be quiet frustrating. At $180 you are paying a premium, and these issues shouldn't persist. Nonetheless I gave them 4 stars. PS: at $180 don't see why these shouldn't have Bluetooth.

Then these are the headsets you are looking for. Padding does not bite into your ears, they fit inside the opening. Adjustment can be a little tricky, but they fit nice once you find your sweet spot. Sound is good and online players say that the mic is crisp and clear. There is a firmware update on the lucidsound website, and it was easy to update and install. The chat / game sound balance could be improved, it takes a little effort to get your sweet spot. Other than the chat / game balance, I have no complaints. Built well, if you take care of them they should hold up. I would recommend these headsets.

I bought this item back in December 2019, they always charged, but as of recently. They will not charge at all, and won't turn on, is there a reason why?

Synced up right away and sounds great. Occasionally has some signal loss and crackle. This is my first set of wireless headphones but I suspect that's largely unavoidable. Took off one star as there is no way to adjust the bass on the headphones.

Not everything I hoped for. They are convenient and have good battery like. The sound is good but there is some hissing and crackle noises....mostly as the game starts up. I never had these problems with my hard wired set. On the whole, it's not that big of an advantage over my old set.

Only used them for about 20 hours, but loving this headset. I had those turtle beach 600 wireless headsets and thought they were cheap junk. Pros: -Great surround sound with Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic -Well built frame that is sturdy/comfortable -Love the way you tune the sound/chat with the earcups on the side -Connects almost instantly with Xbox console -Nice, optional mic with lighting letting you know when its not in use -Came with an awesome carrying case to house the headset Cons -Mic monitoring is so low for me or I'm having difficulty figuring out how to get it working like I want. I'm assuming LucidSound is working on an update on this one. Last thing I wanted to note that is I've had maybe two connection drops in audio since I've been using and they last maybe 2-3 seconds tops. So minimal that it does not even concern/bother me.
