Not 3 in 1

An honest review. The positives: nice sprinkler action. Cute. Easy to set up. The negatives: it’s not a three in one folks. Let’s be honest it’s a sprinkler pad. I was looking to replace our baby pool/sprinkler with this item and was disappointed that you couldn’t inflate it with air to keep water in the wading pool without having the hole attached and on... Lastly it’s deceptively slippery. My one year old stepped into the pool and slipped the first time using it. I also find the surface a bit slick when wet.

Nice Small Splash Pad, Not a Great Design

I like this little splash pad as its cute for a little one to crawl around in. However the design flaw in it is that the hose has to be on the whole time to keep it inflated which then keeps the sprinkler going. The hose water is really cold so baby didn't like it at all. I wish there was a way to inflate it and then keep the water in to get warm, then turn on the sprinklers. It instantly deflates if you turn off the hose so its kind of rendered useless if baby doesn't like the ice cold sprinklers. I would definitely go with a plain pool if I had a choice.

Use on a slight incline

I purchased this pool for my 2 year old grandson so that we can play in the yard and not go to the local kiddy pool. It is a good concept but make sure you set up the pool on a slight incline so that the fountain effect is achieved. Even running the water at full pressure, getting the fountain to get higher than 2 inches was difficult until I moved the pool to an area with a slight incline in order to get a more full effect.

Just be aware that it is SLIPPERY!

All plastic pools have slippery bottoms, but in this case there is not a pool full of water to help bouy up a child's body and help prevent them from falling. The splash pad, however, has only a couple inches of water on the surface; and children step from (or run!) the grass onto the wet pad and are likely to slip and fall. Parents should be aware of that and help kids learn how to be careful when stepping onto it. Our 5-year-old granddaughter was smart enough to "catch" herself, but her younger brothers fell a lot. It's a shame the manufacturer doesn't make it with some type of grip on the surface.

Awesome toy, but failed after 4 months

Let me start by saying that my daughter LOVED this thing. If you don’t have a pool in your backyard, this makes for a great little water play station for the kiddos. The only reason I’m giving it a lower rating is because we’ve only had it since early May, and yesterday it failed on us, August 16, four months later. The seam that holds the water in the outside ring gave way. I will admit our toddler really put this thing to task, jumping on it and sliding and falling all over it, and it held up nicely until it didn’t anymore. I’m not even trying to give it a bad review here, just informing other parents about our experience. For $35 or whatever it cost, we got our money’s worth, and I’d probably buy another one.

The customer service was soso good

I purchased this splash a pool , it ripped . But customer service was quick to reach out to me in attempt to correct the mistake , which is great taking into consideration that often even if you reach out first to a company they don't care to correct a mistake , not this one apparently , they reached out to me and done few things to correct whatever went wrong . The level of customer service , appreciation and value of the customers showed to be phenomenal in my experience.

Safety issue that could use improvement

We got this out for the first time today and everything was great except for one thing. Every time my daughter stepped on it or tried to walk across it (she’s 3) she would fall. The plastic is so slippery she kept falling. It was so bad that I actually turned off the sprinkler and we stopped playing with it. I’m afraid she’s going to break an arm. It was like watching someone slip on a banana peel. It was pretty sad. I’m thinking of adding adhesive non slip things you put in your bathtub to the center of it. My 5 and 3 year old loved it but the last thing I want to do is have to take one of them to the hospital👎🏻 I would highly recommend this product if it weren’t for that, especially based off the price. Perhaps something could be corrected with this? I was looking forward to having something that we didn’t always have to add air to before we used it again.

Fun, but slippery

I bought this for my 21 month old to play in on our back patio. We don't have any grass, and based on other reviews I thought putting this on the patio would be fine. Initially she was having a blast. She was splashing and playing in the jets of water and having a great time. Then she stepped in the pool and slipped. She bonked her head on the patio and started crying. She is fine, but now she is very hesitant to go on the pad again. This pad really should be played with on grass. It's an ok toy overall, thus the 3 stars, but be careful if you plan to put it on a hard surface.

Meh

I got this for my 18-month-old granddaughter. Given that the sprinklers are the feature, and kids will tend to want to go in and out of them, the bottom of the pool is way too slippery. I really don't recommend use by the very young unless you're willing to hold their hands whenever they want to stand up and walk in and out. Certainly they'll slip if they run. Older children may do okay and may actually enjoy sliding around but there are better alternatives for that type of water fun. Construction is a bit strange -- the hose attaches on the inside of the pool rather than the outside, which leaves a weird crimp on one side and the hose at an odd angle -- which leads to tears when the hose scrapes the inside. I had a tear by second use.

Love this, but...

I am now on my second one. I love the concept of this little pool, and my granddaughter loves it too. However, the first one split down the side (even though we tried to monitor the water pressure), and this second one (that replaced the first one) leaked at the connection, and not just a little leak. A solid stream of water. So don't know what to do. It is such a cute item, and she loves the letters and pictures on the bottom. She lays in the water and is constantly reciting what she sees. The spray around the edge is one of her favorites too. But don't know if we will set it up again.
