It's incredibly soft and the box is accurate that the throw itself doesn't heat up, just the heating element within the throw. The built-in controller is super convenient and I've used it on many cold evenings so far this winter. I can't recommend this enough!

I recently purchased the Brookstone Heated Cozy Throw in gray plush, and it has quickly become one of my favorite purchases this season. The plush fabric is soft and the throw heats up quickly, making it perfect for staying cozy while watching TV or reading. I purchased it at a great sale price and wish I would have bought more of them—these would make amazing gifts or great extras to keep around the house.

It’s so nice that it auto shuts off after four hours so I don’t have to worry and it’s so easy to switch temperature settings with a simple click! Super soft and cozy!!

I love how soft this blanket is, the pattern is neutral and goes well with our furniture! It has 4 different heat settings and the 4th does get toasty, but not too hot! It does seem to turn off after awhile of using (I couldn’t tell you the exact amount of time), which is nice since sometimes I forget to unplug! I use it on the daily!
