I'm getting 74 Minneapolis channels from 20-30 miles away, and the channels I've been watching are clear. Better than the old antenna. It probably helps that the antenna is on the 2nd floor near a window.

I was leery given some of the reviews, but to my surprise I walked away impressed by the this digital antenna. The first thing that stands out is that I like that you have the option to stand or mount it. A lot of antenna usually don't provide a stand and it's appreciated even though you generally get better reception from mounting it high. That is another thing I'm pleased by that antenna, the signal meter in the bottom-right corner. It helps guide you where to place the antenna in your home for the best reception. What's nice is that you can turn off the indicator if you don't like the bright light at night.

I bought three HD antennas to comapre and found this one the best performing. If you are going with an indoor antenna you are going to need to move it around (further than the 10 ft cord it comes it) to get the most channels. And I mean everytime you use it unless you are at a high elevation. I suggest theEleMiniKin TV Antenna Extention Coaxial Cable (15 feet) with Coupler - Digital Audio Video Coax Cable Cord for HDTV, CATV, Cable Modem, Satellite Receivers Brand: EleMiniKin for ten dollars at the big online retailer that starts with an A. I was able to pull in 20 channels after getting a mere 4. This anntenna is priced lower online for some reason at Target.

Target seems a little crazy here. Supposedly the regular price of this antenna is $41.99, currently at the time of this review it's on sale for $31.99. Not so crazy, huh? Except get it in store and it's literally more than twice the price at $65.99. Ok, yes this specifies here that what's listed here is the price bought online, but it's still crazy that it's more than twice as much merely by getting it in store. Luckily Target happily price matches their online stores pricing so all you have to do is make sure it's on sale online and then show them when you get it if you're shopping in store. Meanwhile for how good of an antenna this is, well, it's out by a very recognizable & respected brand in electronics and it essentially has everything you want in an indoor TV antenna. Ok, being an indoor model it's somewhat limited compared to an outdoor model, but that doesn't by any means that this sucks or is any kind of bad, just that an outdoor model is undoubtedly going to be better for how many channels it'll pickup. So let's compare this to other indoor antennas for a more fair comparison. And by that token this antenna ranks extremely high. Probably not number one, but definitely top 5 of what's currently on the market. Terk & Mohu are others who are making excellent performing indoor antennas right now, but they come at a higher price point. And this is plenty sufficient for as it is. The cord could be a little longer, but it's also long enough to be manageable. Not sure exactly what I make of the signal finder technology here, but the overall product is a very well performing one and at the end of it that's really all that matters, right?

I live in a sizable apartment building & am surprised at the reception & channels I received. Quite happy with this purchase.
