Fantastic quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this antenna with low hopes since they are usually complicated and confusing or just don't work. This one however is fantastic. The quality is outstanding. The base it comes with is perfect for where ever you want to place it. The set up process couldn't have been easier! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an antenna to get local channels!

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hooked up reasonably easily and reception seems ok so far, but our area is notorious for poor reception. Will give updated review if my opinion changes overt time. We ditched cable years ago, but I've missed having access to some of the current broadcast shows, so I'm excited to possibly be able to watch NBC and CBS once again.

I like the features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like having the ability to lock on to signal strength with the meter on the side of the unit. It's very accurate and saves time on setup. Picture and sound were both digital quality, as expected. If you live anywhere within range of a metropolitan area, you should never have to pay a cable bill. Good product.

Good quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best indoor, digital antennas i've ever used. I love the signal meter, right on the side of the unit. It takes all the guesswork out of positioning the antenna. Beautiful, digital quality picture and sound. Can't beat the value for this price.

Works pretty well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying to cut ties with expensive cable bills. This signal finder works fairly well for me. I was able to get about 30 or so channels and I'm about 50 miles from the closest broadcaster. Hopefully as more channels become available I will pick up more. Easy install. Excellent support if needed.

Got some local channels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the increasing use of video streaming in our family, using our phones and tablets, we have not used much of our TV, we are thinking of letting go of our cable/satellite subscription, but I'd like to have access to some local programming. The Philips Elite HD Signal Finder got me access to the local channels that I wanted.

Philips Elite HD Signal Finder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Philips Elite HD Signal Finder is a great product if you are close to a metropolitan area and have access to the the signal broadcasted over the air. You get all the local television you need and for what you don't have access to you can find online or use a Netflix like subscription. The setup is seamless and takes about 10-15 minutes to find all the channels you have access to. This is a worthwhile product for those of you who find yourself not watching much live tv but you do want the option at times to watch the news or some of the shows on local channels.

Good, but there's definitely better, at Target even.

Much as I suspected when I got this it's less than their other offered model which while the other ISN'T amplified, it uses a twin panel design (pretty obvious to spot if you're going to Target as it's the only twin panel model antenna) and the idea there just works better. Think about it. You have more surface area to catch signals with and so it's hardly rocket science to know that that works better. However this isn't bad either, it gets good enough reception for my kid's TV and was gotten on sale, so I'm not complaining at all. I just can't help but to compare, especially when what I'm comparing it to is from the same store and priced (slightly) less.

Great product, if your expectations are realistic.

I bought this product after losing our cable during hurricane Ian. Was very pleased with it and being able to watch some football was a big morale boost in a tough situation. This is great for an emergency situation, but it is NOT a replacement for cable. You can get all local channels, and a random collection of news channels, channels that play westerns/80s/90s tv shows, and even some radio stations. I would highly recommend this product for emergencies, cable outages, or if you are only looking for local channels. Again, it is not a replacement for cable.

Functional

I bought this for my lower level TV. For being half below ground it works very well. I may swap it with the antenna I have upstairs to see which one gives me the best signal for the space.
