However (see title), I am not a senior citizen, and I do distance running. I'm applying heat to my lower back right now as the "pop- pop- pop-" of these shoes hitting the pavement still rings in my ears. They fit fine, but they aren't particularly well-balanced, the soles aren't thick enough -- or cushioned enough -- and the shoes are perfectly, preternaturally flat. I can hear the shoe-engineers who made these congratulating themselves on the outstanding flat planes they fashioned after hours of labor over expensive CAD software. "There! That'll cancel out any God-given advantages the human foot was designed with!" they likely said to themselves. The result is that, even if you have a decent runner's stride, these shoes slam into the pavement with a bone-jarring smack. And they aren't particularly light on the pickup either. Over ten kilometers, you really begin to feel this. I wound up having to do a long, low stride just to keep from injuring myself. If you run for distance, invest in a mid-price-range pair of shoes and don't bother with these.
