Haven't used it yet but it's sturdy and well made. The handle is 5 screw-together pieces and the handle wall thickness is enough to place some serious pressure on the brush head; I believe the the threaded connections may help handle rigidity as well. Since some other reviewers commented about the handle "unscrewing", I placed a drop of "blue" threadlocker on each connection except the brush head and hand-tightened each (with clean hands) as much as I could. The product description of the brush head was vague. "Thick, Durable Bristles" means bristle thickness like a heavy wire brush with much more density (about 3 - 4 more total bristles per area) and the bristle material is synthetic to prevent scratches. "angled" means the bristles are cut at an angle on each side of the head to form a "V" lengthwise in the center - exactly what I was hoping for! Better photos could have helped and right now I don't have an option to post a photo but if I do after the next click, I will!

The brush is very effective for straight-line grout. However, (1) the brush cannot work corners, and (2) the handle loosens easily making retightening a regular nuisance!

When we chose the grout color for our tile entryway, we picked a color that was close to the color of dirt.... because that's what people who don't like cleaning grout do. :-) So it hasn't been cleaned in about 5 years. I mop the tile of course, but have never got down on the floor and scrubbed the grout. This tool makes it much easier than stooping down and scrubbing with a brush, so thought I'd give it a try. I had just mopped yesterday, so I sprayed only the grout with some general purpose detergent and let it sit for about 10 mins. Then took to scrubbing the grout lines with this tool. After scrubbing, I mopped the tile with plain water to Remove the dirty water, and boy was it dirty! I had no idea all that grime was sitting in between the tiles -- the water was brown after mopping. I think in the future I'll just wet mop the tile and leave it wet, then scrub the grout, then mop up the excess water. That should keep tile and grout pretty clean.A couple improvements could be done to make this brush more versatile. It would be cool, for example, to somehow have this grout V-brush attached to a flat brush that could scrub the flat part of the tile as well. Also, I found that scrubbing from left to right underneath something (like a bench or sink) was difficult because the brush head does not swivel in all 4 directions and so was at an angle that didn't get down into the grout. And I could not scrub perpendicular right up to a wall - but not sure how that could be resolved. You might still have to get out the old toothbrush to get that last bit of grout right next to the wall.

There's no question that standing up to clean grout is far more comfortable that bending over, or getting down on your hands and knees. This product helps certain situations, but is less helpful in others. For basic cleaning of floor grout, it works great. But it's difficult to provide enough pressure to meet the demands of deep cleaning. While certainly a step in the right direction, it's not a cure all for the inherently annoying business of cleaning grout.

This is a good brush for grout, but for me it seemed a bit challenging to use. Sure, you're no longer on your hands and knees, but it isn't as easy as it seems, scrubbing from a standing position. I think it's a leverage and a targeting thing. When you're on your hands and knees, you can target a small area with force. You can do the same standing, but on about 60% as effective (my opinion). I don't blame this brush, as the brush does everything it promises, but I personally think a better job is done when you're down there close to the floor scrubbing. But this is a nice brush with many applications, not just grout, and can reach into corners very well.

I received this Crown Choice Grout Brush with Long Handle in good condition. It was shipped disassembled in a small cardboard box. The pieces were wrapped in plastic. It comes with written instructions but assembly is straightforward. You will need someone with good grip strength to twist the pole handle together, otherwise it will come loose very easily. The pole is metal, and a nice long length that takes it easy on your back. It is especially useful for me, considering we only have a stall size shower in our small bathroom, and cleaning the grout with a hand brush previously was a hassle in such a small space. The grout brush in particular is very effective at removing debris in small corners and of course the thin space of grout in between tiles. The bristles are heavy duty and thick and don't bend easily. I think what makes the brush head so unique is also its shape. Unlike regular flat shape bristle heads, this one comes in at a "V" point in the middle to really get into those hard to reach places. The only caveat to this grout brush is the screw on handle. As tight as I could get it on, it still managed to come undone while I was using it. I'm going to ask my boyfriend to really tighten it for me the next time I use it and see if that helps. Overall, I still really like grout brush with handle and will continue to use it.

The pole is made of several parts that are screwed together. I find myself retightening them often.

Minimize the effort and back strain with this cleaning tool. Wedge angled shape gets corners and deep grout lines. Great buy
