I bought six of these cute Solar Owls with the intention of using them in my vegetable garden to hopefully keep animals away. I left them in the sun for a week and they still do not light up. I asked customer service for 1/2 of my money back because I will probably just use them as ornaments in my flower garden but they only refunded me $20.00 out of the $79.00 I spent. Beware ...If they happen to start lighting up I'll revise my review but as of now...they are not working as advertised.

One of the owls did not work

It was way smaller than expected. It looks good in a small garden.

I recieved these yesterday to put up in my flowers to deter some squirrels in my yard. 1 lights up, the othet 1 is having a connection problem and dried glue is very visible. They are cute, but wish they were brighter.

Owl worked for one summer. Now will not work even with new battery. Don't buy, cheap junk!

One of the two owl lights stopped working soon after they arrived. I tried to give it a chance, leaving it in the garden to catch sunlight. As a result, I missed the deadline to return the lights for a refund. Bummer. It would also help if there's an instructions sheet with where to find the on/off switch. I had to ask the seller.

Very nice looking owl and seems to be made of solid material. However, the one I received emits minimal to no light, even when in direct sun all day.
