This item arrived broken. I didn’t even have to open it to hear the broken glass. Would like a replacement though.

I had mine turned on for about 20-30 minutes with the recommended type of bulb, and the glass shade suddenly and loudly popped and broke.

Surprisingly great
Five stars for the lamp design itself, five stars for Target customer service, but minus 10 stars for the inadequate packaging. Long story short, three separate orders of four of these lamps arrived with the glass shades and bulbs shattered and the lamps scratched because there was nothing in the box with the lamp except some collapsed bubble wrap, which was punctured by the glass shards. Fed Ex tried to deliver twice and UPS the third time, but the shades and bulbs didn't survive the trip. Target replaced the order after the first shipment; then refunded my money after the replacements arrived damaged. They refunded my money after the third failed delivery. So, caveat emptor to anyone who orders this beautiful lamp. It won't survive the journey unless someone at the warehouse knows how to pack and ship a fragile item properly. It's a shame, and the ordeal took three weeks and 12 destroyed lamps. Kudos to Target customer service for making it right each time, but what a terrible and completely unnecessary waste of materials. So, lamp is great, packing and shipping is abysmal. I hope you have a better experience than I did!
