The media could not be loaded. Not real loud like most. 3 settings, cool air, low warm and high heat. The bristles are soft and do not hurt my head at all. Even when I pushed the brush against my head to scoop my hair into the brush to dry and style, the bristles still never hurt at all, actually it's like I hardly felt them ever! The bristles are the entire way around the whole brush so you can roll the brush to bounce, body or big waves to the hair with complete ease and yet with one hand. The brush blows air out around the entire brush not on just one side. Easy to hold and the cord never tangles.
