I cannot give a general remark for this product as it may work for the lumbar spine, however, it does NOT aid in any way sciatic nerve pain.

When I sat on this, it didn't seem like it was doing much of anything. I didn't feel any support and it didn't seem particularly firm. Didn't relieve any of my back pain. Wonder if I can return it...

Felt really good the first few times, then the padding got compressed and after about 10 uses it is now rather worthless. Two stars for showing me the idea is good.

I thought that this cushion would resolve my seat problems from a very bad back. Unfortunately, it doesn't. The foam compresses into a hard layer that doesn't bring the relief I expected. It seems to work better, however, when used on a hard surface. I'm not sure that the cost warrants the lack of performance.

It did not help my sciatica so I returned it.

At first I loved this cushion BUT it flattens after a while... I think its fine for a chair you don't use all the time, but for an office chair, for example, where you'd be sitting 6-8 hours per day, this cushion is not for you.

It is too short so does not go the length of the thigh. This cuts off circulation and makes my legs uncomfortable. I'm 5'4". Would not buy again.

My SUV seats are not comfortable, so I bought this since I do a lot of traveling for work. It's a nice, firm cushion, but not worth the money. I would not buy it again.

Where the edge of the cushion hit the upper back of my legs was very painful. Just not long enough. Disappointed

Bought this for my wife who has suffered with pain in her tailbone for months. Her pain gets worse when travelling in a car or plane. This seat did not help relieve her pain at all and I returned it.
