I have not had much chance to use this product which was purchased for making bread. On the second usage, the mixer makes a loud, grinding noise on every revolution of the beater.

Used the mixer to make a box cake mix and discovered the bowl was scratched up from use after the very first time. My mother had one of the old old mixer with all the attachments and heavy as heck. It came yo me after her death and lasted until just last month. It was one of the first and I used it for over 20 years. Never had a scratch in the bowl of the old one. If after the first use with the new one I have a scratch, I look to have a beater problem in my future.

Recd as a gift from my husband for Christmas. Wad excited until I tried to make cookies. The beater doesn't reach to the bottom of the bowl. Butter couldn't mix with sugar without being scraped into the beater. Bringing problem#2. Not enough space between the bowl wall and the beater for a spatula to be used while mixing. Had to stop mixer and raise to get the spatula in. Very disappointed. Wish I hadn't thrown out my old mixer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Unfortunately was not able to remove wire whip beater after second use. Tried to put hot towel and it just didn’t work . Seems this whole piece was defective. Was so excited when bought it and so disappointing had to return it. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this as a gift over six months ago and Im disappointed in overall design of the product. I love baking and cooking but have neurological issues in my arm making it difficult to mix. This product has not made life in the kitchen easier for me. The head of the mixer covers most of the bowl which leads to a mess when trying to add ingredients with it running. I have had to result to stopping the mixer entirely, unlocking the head and lifting it back to add ingredients. A bit of a pain for something that is supposed to make kitchen life easier. The bowl should be more offset so that one can add ingredients while the mixer is running and not make a mess. I grew up with a KitchenAid and throughly enjoyed that well designed product that is still working (40 years later!). If my mother was willing to part with it I would be happily using a KitchenAid mixer that is older than me.

After only 2 months of use this has completely stopped working. The unit won’t even turn on. And it doesn’t come with a one year manufacturer warranty? This is insane! Hundreds of dollars wasted on this product that was a gift for my daughter’s birthday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally got my KitchenAid stand mixer! Could not have been more excited to finally get one. And it broke the first time I used it. I will not shut off. I have to unplug and plug it in each time I use it. Such a hassle to try and return it. Very disappointed.
