Owned the same model for over 10 years before it died. Purchased the new one and you can easily see quality has gone down over the years. Hoping it lasts like the last one.

When it worked it worked great. After 8 months and a dozen uses the worm gear shredded. This is a common but but rare issue and can be replaced with proper tools which I don't have. My sister has had hers for 10 years. No issues [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This was a gift. I like it but miss the attachments I had with my old kitchen center. I guess once I get these I may enjoy more. The attachments are expensive, so it may take a bit. Picked this up last weekend. Bowl unlocked continuously when making two loafs of bread (6 cups all purpose). Had to try hold the bowl down and turn off to prevent a collision with the hook. Worked great for cupcakes and cakes however... Will try another bread loaf next weekend and contact kitchen aid... Perhaps the bowl or locking clap is defective

The mixer performs better than expected. However the wire whip, dough hook, and beater are not stainless steel...they appear to be cheap aluminum and are discoloring, leaving a black powder film, and rusting in places after a few uses. They’ve been hand washed and not dishwashed since I’ve had them the last 2 weeks. Pretty disappoint in the attachments needless to say. Looks like all need to end buying new attachments soon enough. This item was purchased as a wedding gift. Although it hasn't been used yet I believe the quality will be outstanding. Furthermore the purchased items were not wrapped as I had originally requested and paid for and it was a major inconvenience.

My husband bought this to replace my old one that was dying. Didn’t realize he’d gotten the one with the smaller motor, and it doesn’t have nearly as much power as my other one. I do love the color though, so that makes me happy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

i just started using my mixer and so far after about 3 uses I can no longer use my burnished beater for it now has a tarnished look to it and is leaving streaks throughout my batters. I cannot seem to find a replacement for it either, you would think that they would do something about this after all the reviews that I have read with the same problem.

Got this as a Christmas gift and it’s an ok mixer. Pros- beautiful color, sturdy, plenty of options Cons- doesn’t mix well at the bottom or the sides of the bowl and the bowl will sometimes jump out of the locking bottom. ( if doing thick dough) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
