Broke after 8 months of use. Calling for warranty

Highly disappointed that this is how I received my mixer brand new out the box. Do you guys reuse pieces for brand new ones hoping customers don’t notice?

We bought the mixer in November, and at first, it was a game-changer. No more hand-kneading dough, and it made baking much easier. However, I soon noticed it struggled with kneading most doughs, requiring me to work in batches—even for a 14” pizza dough. I figured this was because I had purchased the 4.5qt model. Eight months later, the mixer is broken. Of course, this happens just past the return window of the refund policy. In summary, while it started off strong and made a solid first impression, the long-term performance left much to be desired. It might be better to invest in a larger model if you’re serious about your dough-kneading game.
