[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned a stand mixer before. There was no manual or even simple instructions as to how to use it. Perhaps you should not assume that everyone has owned or used a Kitchen Aid. After much trial and error I have come to love my mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third kitchenaid stand mixer. I have a home based cake business. While I wouldn't be without one, they are not without issues. My last two...the off lever kept popping back on. Literally had to unplug it to turn it off. This kept me from allowing my grandkids to use it and bake with me. My brand new one....the "hole" on the flat beater is too big and loose when mounted. A bump has it dropping into the batter, and being a mess. Not just mine, daughter has the same one....same issue, but flat beater falls off easily. And have to mention for the price of them, along the way kitchenaid got cheap and quit including the stainless steel whip. The aluminum one that has to be hand washed is sub par for this level of mixer. Lucky for me, one from an earlier mixer is still going strong. But seriously, reduce the opening on the flat beater please!
