Facil y rapido de instalar

My better half asked me to get a electronic lock for our inside garage/foyer door. We rarely use the front door because it involves unlocking the screen door as well. The unit has a very nice subdued/satiny finIsh. The smaller numbers/lettering on the keyboard are harder to read, but muscle memory helps tremendously! The lighting is adequate for low-lighting. Installation was quite easy even with the builders’ botched lock placement. Replacing the batteries takes minimal effort. One has to be sure that the door is closed tight or the lock will correctly not force itself onto the door plate.

I like how easy it was to install and program. It’s a simple coded deadbolt lock, not WiFi enabled. It makes coming and going so much easier. We can go for a walk or bike ride without carrying our keys or taking the house key off the ring and worrying about losing it. It’s also great for when my keys are in the car ignition and I have to run back inside for something. Or when we get home, and my wife really has to pee, and doesn’t have her keys, she can use the code to get inside. All first world problems but would definitely recommend 10/10.

Was easy to install but difficult to program, better explanation for program is required

It was a bit difficult to install, but knew it would be so was prepared. It replaced another key entry lock that was over 9 years old (started to go bad and got tired of fooling with it). All I have to say is this lock's fantastic. Like the light, especially at night (last lock just had glow in the dark keys but would never get enough sun light to work). Very consistent open and close function as well (last one I had never really had that). Pretty happy with my purchase overall. Bought the brass one since it matches what I already had (thus the door) better. Few dollars more but no regrets. Only question I have is how long is the battery life? Haven't had this lock long enough to experience that. It has worked quite well in colder that Freezing weather though (so happy with that too). :)

This is actually the 2nd milocks keyless entry I've installed. I put one (with the remote and door knob with it) in my rental house replacing the doorknob and everything as it acted up for years, then 2 weeks later, the deadbolt on my own front door wouldn't open (it broke) so I ordered this one to replace it. Very easy to install (especially the 2nd time! lol) and works great. Only tricky part was when I first installed it, the unlock button wanted to lock and vice versa. I called their support line and all I had to do was move the little switch under the battery compartment from 1 to 2. Problem solved! Trickiest part is getting the wires connected and moved out of the way when you put the back plate on - takes a little maneuvering of the plug part around but its doable.

It's a good deal for the price point. I do have to say, that the instructions were not as clear to get it working easily and the 1-800 Milocks never called me back. I spent couple of hours to look up online instructions and Google videos and figured out programming the code. It also comes with the keys. I like the option that I can set up multiple key code for housemates. Also, make sure to check on the door, we had to chisel out to fit it in place. Once setup, its been working great for few months now. I can definitely hear it locking/unlocking from upstairs, depends on one's preference if they like to hear someone at the door attempting or like more silent unit. Note - it does not have the auto-lock feature, which is available in a different model.

This is a great product, great price. There are many at our local big box hardware store that cost a lot more. This is very secure and easy to use. I enjoyed that we can set several codes. 5 stars.
