And with a terabyte of storage, you hardly need disks! A word of caution; if you download games instead of buying the hard disk versions, the software will not let you play those games unless you have some sort of internet connection to verify the usage license. I got this for my truck as I was an over the road truck driver and I found this out the first night I parked up to rest. Luckily, I could use my mobile hotspot feature on my cell phone. You probably won't be playing online with friends, but you can play your downloaded games without a hitch. I highly recommend this system.

i had to send first one back because it stopped working in about 2 or3 weeks. called customer care it took about month before another was sent out from the seller. but it arrived today. so i'm happyy so far. thank you very much.

I’ve had the original PS4 system since it came and and have long run out of space on the 500GB hard drive so I decided to buy a newer updated version of the PS4.. the ps4 slim is awesome. There is a very noticeable performance between my slim and the original. The network connection on my slim is twice as good, games load much faster, download times are much quicker and most importantly I have twice as much HD space for games. I don’t even play a lot of games but still somehow ran out. If you’re noticing a decline in performance on your original ps4 you should definitely invest in a new with plus you can add on a 4 year warranty.

Update:12/25/17 We have a winner! I could attempt to tell you, in highly technical terms, why this system rocks. But I would fail. So I will just say I have the happiest 10 year old in the world. PS4 is worth $1000. Get one. Original review: So with the possible exception of a bra, I cannot think of anything I am less qualified to review than a game system. Last video game I played was Space Invaders and that was 1977. But I did my research and read my reviews and I think I got the best one. Most important it’s the one my 10 year old son wants. And after consulting with my 26 and 24 year old sons, I went for it. So this is a provisional 5 stars to be amended after Christmas as necessary. lol My sons recommend. Thanks for reading

works as expected, i noticed my old one got way to hot if enclosed in the cabinet even if not being played but left on. It would heat the entire cabinet it was in on the tv stand. I have this one left out in the open on the shelf to help prevent that.

It took 10 days to get me but I was affected by hurricane Ida in south Louisiana. It’s been a long two weeks but the thank you mints made my day.

My grandson would be better giving this review. As long as he's happy, I'm happy! Many friends and family have this game system. I purchased this one as a birthday present for him, so that he could play online with some out of state family members (primarily his big brother in Texas) who didn't have an Xbox. He has really enjoyed it, but - being diagnosed as a "special needs" kid - he is also VERY rough on electronic items. We recently found it in need of repair (it stopped being able to read the connection to any controller, not sure of cause), and Sony has been AWESOME in replacing it, at no cost to us. They even sent the postage free box to return it. I have no complaints about this game console, or the manufacturer. Some of the games, on the other hand . . . a totally different story!

The media could not be loaded. So I was a little nervous buying a ps4 on Amazon but I must say it’s been good so far I’ve had it for 7months and nothing but good things to say it came on time no dent scratch’s on the box still works

I ordered this trying to find one for my son and husband as a family gift for Christmas, I ordered it on the 18th, it said it would come by the 30th. I was totally cool with that, it showed up on Christmas Eve, the box was in perfect condition. I love that it came early and in great condition. Everything was in the box as advertised, brand new.
