Best blender I've ever used. I haven't had a single issue with it. I went through two cheaper 100 dollar bullet blenders, and they worked well at first, but if you blend ice or frozen fruit with them, the blades dull very quickly. And I'm not a fan of chewing my smoothie. I've used this blender every morning for over three years with frozen fruit, and the consistency has never changed. It's super easy to clean. It comes with a tamper, but if you load your blender properly you don't really need it. There's more expensive blenders, but this one seems the best value to me.

Totally blown away by how awesome this thing is and how much I love using it. I finally understand how a simple kitchen appliance can cost so much. It's that good. All the other reviews have described what makes it so great. One little thing that I'll add is that the spout that you pour from is an ingenious design that is absolutely 100% drip free. When you tilt the pitcher back up from pouring it has a way of somehow collecting the excess liquid away from the lip so that you don't even get one single drop running down the front.I LOVE the simple functionality and the dial that gives you perfect control of the speed. This thing is so insanely powerful that I never end up flipping the left switch to the "high" position. I just crank the dial up to 10 and it turns even frozen fruit mixed with almond milk into pulp in mere seconds. One thing that I'm not counting as good or bad: I was not expecting how huge it is based on the photos. The base unit is actually quite massive and the pitcher is gigantic. This thing is 100% form-follows-function so it is what it is, and what it is is a monster. This is my favorite purchase of 2020 so far. I just love making healthy, delicious smoothies with green bananas (super healthy), strawberries, pure whey protein, and flax seed.

I think this is an excellent blender. What I'll share are a couple quirks I've found while using it.The worst is probably when trying to make something like a puree. Imagine a cooked sweet potato or some chic peas. The first time I tried something like this I actually thought the blender broke. It started to make a weird sound and nothing in the pitcher was moving, my heart sank. What I eventually realized is that anything of thicker consistency, like a hummus, creates an air bubble cave over the blades which then spin freely inside with no movement of the food product. The first time was terrifying but now it's just a little more laborious to make thicker products as you have to babysit and break that are bubble.I do have a cleaning issue when I make smoothies which is that little bits of blackberry get stuck to the sides of the blender. They are so small and thin that they will not rinse off and require scrubbing to come out. Also it's loud, like vacuum cleaner loud, pause the TV loud. That being said I've used it almost daily and it's fantastic. Also might want the scraper tool to get thicker content out from under the blades.

The Vitamix 5200c - 7 Year Waranty Variable Speed Counter-top Blender with 2+ HP Motor and 48-Ounce Jar was a wonderful purchase. This is the first high-end blender that I have purchased. It was very pricey, but well worth it for sure. This Vitamix blender is a very solid machine. The machine is 2 HP at peak. The blender operates with a blade speed up to 240 mph. The design is very simple, and it has a very nice look to it. It looks good in the kitchen. It is fingerprint-resistant. It is easy to clean. The Vita-mix name automatically gets people to ask "How do you like your Vita-mix?"This Vita-mix blender has some nice functions. I love that it makes hot soup from the blades.Large BatchesThe size and shape of the 64-ounce container is ideal for blending medium to large batches.Variable Speed ControlEasily adjust speed to achieve a variety of textures. The dial can be rotated at any point during the blend, so you’re in complete control.Pulverize SeedsThe power and precision of our patented designs are able to pulverize every recipe ingredient, including the tiniest seeds.Hot SoupThe blades in the Vitamix container reach speeds fast enough to create friction heat, bringing cold ingredients to steaming hot in about six minutes. The 48 ounce container is nice because the blender fits under most cabinets on the counter-top. The blender comes to 18" tall. The container is shatter-proof, and it is BPA-Free which is another huge plus. The parts are dishwasher safe.It has a 7 Year warranty. It comes with a recipe book and a DVD.The Vita-mix is expensive, but what you get from it is a lot of power, durability and function. It pays for itself over time. It is a kitchen investment.I definitely recommend this machine. I have not been happier about any other kitchen appliance in my life except for the microwave.

Finally got me a Vitamix! Found this 5200 at a decent price (still expensive). First thing, I made my own almond milk. Then came the protein smoothies and veggie drinks. Then the Berry ice cream with Choc syrup! Made with my almond milk, frozen berries and honey! Love my machine and so happy with this purchase. Next up is broccoli and cheese soup!
