Easy to install, the work fine, easy to use.. but I ordered these for a Christmas gift not only for they come days after first said.. they just came in the store box.. no outer box.. so my husband seen his Christmas gift weeks early.. ruined the surprise.

The only thing I disliked about these is that they are very thin. I’m an average-built man, 180 pounds at 5’9 (depending on which convenient store I’m leaving…. Joke) and the mats don’t extend past my body width. These are for very skinny people. I really like these and would recommend them, but if you’re willing to spend the extra money and buy a set of 2 for each seat, that would work well. You would just have 2 remotes for each seat. Happy warming.

Why is it so hard to find a seat warmer for cars that works well? The major issue with this set is that it takes a good 10 minutes to heat up to a temperature that you can appreciate. The cushion itself is also very narrow so it may not actually cover your entire behind and back. The remote control is also too complicated, forcing you to set a temperature instead of just a simple low, med, high. I am sending mine back and will continue the search.

One of the two cushions came with plastic disc's on the elastic chords that hold the bottom of the cushion rear in between the seat's back and bottom halves. The other cushion did not, so there was no way to keep the tail of the cushion tethered to the back/bottom of the seat. Contacted the manufacturer/distributor company's customer service listed on their low information spec sheet to see if I could get two additional disc's to make it right. Was told they don't have any and would have to ship back to Amazon as a damaged good. It wasn't damaged, just lack of quality control by the manufacturer. Rather than ship back and risk the same issue along with having to pay additional shipping charges that cost half as much as the item, I'll keep it and fabricate my own disc's. So far, that's the only strike but it's significant enough to give it 3 stars overall insted of 4 or 5. After all, those are a portion of what makes installation easy. Cushion quality seems well made and durable. I like the backing of the cushions as it seems it doesn't have much propensity to damage or stain my leather seats. The rubber nubs seem to lightly grip the seat surface so as keep the cushions from sliding. Cushions heat up to about 100F in under two minutes. Hopefully the electronics last and provide a lengthy service life. I plan to remove the cushions once they're no longer needed for winter warmth; don't want to leave them in during the sun damaging hot summer months. The elastic straps won't last much longer than a year, especially if left to get damaged by heat and sun. So, I'll have to devise a way to re-fasten the cushions to my seats in the future when the elastic is stretched out and brittle; provided the heating elements and electronic controls last. But, if they do, I can live with alternative methods of fastening. Lasting electronics for the price will make these covers a far better option than the $450 per seat after factory installation from the dealer. Only other thing that I wish is that the controllers were closer to the power connector instead of the seat cushion and that the inline connector was closer to the cushion than the 12V power outlet adapter. That would make it nicer and easier to tuck the wires down out of sight and have less chance of having to constantly fish the controls out from between the seat edge and the console. I hope the manufacturer reads this and takes that suggestion for future production.

I wish it worked faster....so far it doesn't get very warm
