They put small pieces to boost the number of pieces. I can be ok, but at1-3mm pieces I wouldn’t have buy it at that price

Not worth the price. A lot of the same crystals. Disappointing.

The first picture is this product. Plain rocks. The next picture is the national geographic version. I gave this to my daughter and had the NG one saved for a different child. We opened this and it was so disappointing. Just a box of unattractive rocks. There were a few ok ones here and there. So i ended up giving her the NG one too, and we had them open next to each other. What a difference. No comparison. The quality, color, polishing, variety, everything better in the National Geographic one. I felt like a bit of a sucker, i bought a random bag of rocks. This item does come with a poster that was nice looking and quality but certainly not worth the ~$25. They earned a star for the poster.

I LOVE the idea of this product and we were excited to do it as a family on Christmas. Our fossil and rock lover is autistic and she had a difficult time with identifying because the included rocks don't look exactly like the pictures on the mat. Had to put it away because she was getting upset.

There’s only a few normal size stones and the rest are super tiny. Not worth the money. Kids can’t identify all the tiny stones.

Very saddened by the poor quality and tiny size of these so-called rocks.

Bag full of gravel size rocks and minerals. Not impressed.

Just opened this up and half of the stones consists of small white polished ones. Maybe like 20 nonpolished. And the rest were small and broken. Wasn't worth the 25$

It's a good thing it came with the magnifying glass because a LARGE portion of the pieces are MICROSCOPIC :(

You only receive a handful a good rocks and gems. Probably 95% of the rocks are tiny! Small granules of gems. Even the one shark too the was tiny. Not a great value and unfortunately not at all what I was hoping for. Waste of money
