Excellent vacuum for the price

Good vacuum for the price. Gets the job done, pretty quiet compared to our previous one. We use it daily instead of broom, so not for full house use. Only downside is the wall mount/charger. You need to manually plug/unplug wire. It's not clip-in like others.

Great little vacuum!

This vacuum is perfect for someone who likes to do little cleans everyday. If you're they person who likes to do a deep vacuum every week or so this would not be the best option. This vacuum has been perfect for my family and I. We have one hound puppy and other dogs who love to visit our home. I vacuum about every other night, and the Tineco has no issues doing the job. It does great with dog hair and small everyday dirt. It's pretty decent on my carpet, but actually performs the best on our hardwood/vinyl. I also go through every other week and deep clean our carpets with another stronger vacuum. I do love the two speeds; regular and max, both do a great job with everyday dirt. The battery actually lasted a lot long than I expected, I can vacuum our whole house (about 1,500 sq ft) with one full charge. Overall this is a great vacuum for everyday work! Super lightweight! However, if you're interested in a super strong deep clean you may want to find another option.

Light and quieter than my old Corded Shark Rocket

My first time using it was impressive. Felt lighter and quieter than my corded Shark Rocket. The power brush works well on hard flooring but can't roll on carpet flooring/rugs at all or else I will give it 5 stars instead. Just want to mention that the battery cannot be remove to charge separately.

Perfect- My Dyson do...

Perfect- My Dyson does not compare to this little vacuum. The price - the little features. You can buy a extra battery if needed. Has light on the head of the roller. I mean WoW. Tineco I'm impressed. For under 80.00 - I'll buy three. Dyson is junk!

A joy to use

The Tineco A10 Spartan Stick Vacuum is versatile and a joy to use. It provides comparable power to a plug-in vacuum but is more modern looking, lightweight and amazingly convenient. If you can live with a couple of trade offs, the A10 can make vacuuming fun and easy. Let's get right to the couple of minor drawbacks - the A10's dustbin has a smaller capacity for holding dirt than a typical upright plug-in vacuum, and the vacuum is battery operated so the battery will need to be charged and usage time will vary and limited. This A10 Spartan set is well thought out. It came with the main pieces already assembled (engine, filters, dustbin and battery), you just need to snap in the tube and the the roller brush floor head. The A10 can also be easily converted to a hand vac by removing the tube and attach directly to the included small dusting brush or crevice tool to use on stairs, autos and more. Rounding out the included accessories are a small cleaning tool and a handy wall-mounted dock that everything in the box can be neatly stored on. It is best to mount the dock near an AC outlet for the convenience of charging. Tineco said that the lithium-ion battery has a self-protection function so you can keep it plugged in and it will shut off automatically when full. My dock, however, is in the closet where there is no AC outlet but since the battery is removable and the AC adapter plugs directly into the battery, I can charge the battery elsewhere. The useful indicator lights on the battery shows battery status during use or during charge. A full charge takes about 3.5 hours and will yield between 10 minutes in max mode (louder, more suction) and up to 25 minutes in regular mode. I prefer the regular mode as it provides longer runtime, is quieter and already has enough power for typical daily cleaning. The A10 uses a trigger-style power switch (pull to vacuum, release to turn off). If you are not able to hold the trigger for a long time, you can flip a plastic switch that will hold the trigger in for you. I found that the A10 worked well on carpet and even better on bare floors. The low profile floor head made it easy to go under furniture and such but it also had a hard time picking up bigger items like chips and cereal pieces. Prior to using the A10, I had some concerns about the top-heavy design but it was unfounded - it actually made maneuvering easy. I was bothered a bit with the occasional squeaking of the two wheels on hard surfaces but other than that, the vacuum moved and swiveled effortlessly. I particularly liked the bright LED head lights that helped spot dirt and debris in dark areas. Regularly emptying out the dustbin has to be my least favorite task. The A10 made it simple by having a release door at the bottom of the dustbin to let dirt drop out but dust always spill into the air as I empty it. Other necessary maintenance include removing, cleaning and replacing 2 filters - a microfiber pre filter in the dustbin (clean monthly and replace every 6 months) and a HEPA filter located in the handle to help remove allergens (clean quarterly and replace once a year). These filters are easy to access and can be washed and dried until time to replace. The yearly cost for changing out these filters is a very reasonable $20 which is the cost for a pack of 2 pre filters and 1 HEPA filter directly from Tineco. My only reservation about the A10 is I have not heard of the Tineco brand until recently and only having the A10 for a short time, I cannot speak to its durability and reliability but the A10 does come with a 2-year limited warranty to ease your worries. However, the battery only has a 1-year warranty according to Tineco's website. Speaking of battery, it would be nice to get a spare battery included in the box. There is even an empty slot on top of the wall-mounted dock ready to hold the extra battery. All in all, I enjoyed using the A10 a lot. I never knew vacuuming can be this easy and I did not have to sacrifice convenient or suction power. I no longer view vacuuming as a chore and glad that I finally got a cordless stick vacuum.

Decent cordless

I received this Spartan stick vacuum through the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. It is pretty powerful for a cordless. Compact and good size. The plastic hanger is great as it has room for the attachments. The wheels are a little cheap and seems like they may fail off after awhile. Dirt bin is def small and needs emptied often. But for now it works great.

Great little vacuum for right now

After using my new Spartan cordless stick vacuum a few times, I am a fan of its light-weight, agile build. It has a rotating head, so it's very easy to maneuver under tight spaces, such as under my infant's highchair. It is also helpful at cleaning under the entrance of the couch. I think it picks up dust and debri fairly well. My only concern is the cost of replacement parts when the time comes. It has a HEPA filter, which is great, but I'm wondering how much it will be to replace that when the time comes. It recommends changing the filter in about six months. I like the vacuum overall; it seems to do a great job at picking up what I need it to pick up. It's easy to move from room to room. It is also fairly quiet. My daughter is fine with hearing the noise, being right next to it. Overall, I would recommend the vacuum. Just be aware of the cost of replacement parts, when the time comes. I'm unable to review that specifically, as I have only had the vacuum for a short time.

Cute vacuum that is good on solid surfaces

I was really excited to try this vacuum out because I have a two story home and currently own a Dyson Animal Ball. The Dyson is heavy, I don't like carrying it up and down the stairs and the vacuum tube is pretty stiff when using it on the stairs. The instructions to put the vacuum together were fairly easy except for one piece that wasn't on the Parts List. After looking at the illustrations, I was able to figure out that it was part of the mounting cradle for the vacuum. The vacuum is fairly light weight and easy to push across the floor. I like the slim head design because it lets me get under shorter furniture better than my Dyson. I also like the LED lights on the vacuum head. For solid flooring, the lights provided oblique lighting to see whatever is on the floor. The vacuum can be used with the stick attachment or you can remove it so it's a big version of a Dust Buster. There's also a crevice and a brush attachment that comes with it. The vacuum has a trigger pull to start it up as long as the trigger is depressed. There's also a lever you can switch that keeps the vacuum on until you flip the lever back. I definitely recommend the lever because my fingers go tired from depressing the trigger button over time. Furthermore, there's a "Max" button to provide extra suction power. The main body has a few different filter components to attend to but it's not complicated to clean. There is also a way to open the vacuum head in order to de-hair the rotating brushes. This was a great plus for me because my long hair can kill a vacuum. Now for the cons. I feel this vacuum is best for solid flooring (wood, tile, etc) or maybe extremely low pile carpet. The suction is sufficient for these environments but it wasn't as effective on my carpeted stairs. I had to go over these areas a few times. I also think this vacuum is good for smaller area. For instance, my downstairs is about 1200 square feet of tile. The vacuum performs well to do quick clean ups (basic dust, dirt, pet hair and my long hair). It also did a good job picking up a broken wine glass too.

Reasonably priced

I have a similar model cordless dyson Vacuum that cannot pick up cereals or cats dry food from the floor :( I was surprise that this much cheaper model does it pretty well. It has a Max option that does any cleaning work easier. I had a spot of black cats hair on my carpet floor and small pieces of paper. And it cleaned everything (See the difference on the picture) If you use the max button this vacuum doesn't work too long (like probably 15 min) same as my dyson. I would even give this vacuum 5 stars but it is so powerful that it soaked my cats small toy and destroyed it :( my fault but I did not expect such a power from such inexpensive vacuum.

It Really Sucks, In a Good Way

I needed a vacuum to clean our vehicle as well as one that works well for quick and easy daily floor care. The Tineco A10 SPARTAN is a versatile, lightweight, powerful cordless stick vacuum perfect for quick and easy cleaning that perfectly fits my needs. This vacuum performs well, with suction as strong as our old corded vacuum, yet is lighter in weight, and takes up less storage space. The A10 Spartan effectively cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as upholstery. It comes with attachment tools that are easy to switch out and store neatly on the wall charging station. The one included rechargeable battery can be charged while connected to the vacuum or off of the vacuum. The stick vacuum easily converts to a hand vacuum to clean crevices, corners, stairs, upholstery, autos and more. It has a really strong suction mode that removes debris without a brush roller. I like this feature, because I have become tired of having to cut hair and string from old roller style vacuums. It's easy to operate. You can use the trigger style power button, or flip the switch to lock the power button to the "on" position. My only complaint is that the stick vacuum can seem a bit top heavy. I wish that it was a bit more balanced, but it's not a major concern for me. I recommend this for anyone with pets, children, allergies, or need a fast vacuuming solution.
