I'm not usually a fan of earbuds with wired earhooks, but needing another pair of usb-c wired earbuds I thought I'd give these a shot. The sound is pretty good, bass is deep for the price and they are plenty loud.The biggest drawbacks for me are the tips and the earhooks themselves. Even the largest tips just aren't big enough for me and they are flimsy.. always buy better tips! The hooks are the killer though. After having these for several months and fiddling with the hooks too many times to count, I just could not get them to stay in the shape I needed them to be in. So, if loose hooks are a deal breaker for you then you might try a pair with a more rigid hook.

The cord to wrap is now pulling the bud out of the ear

Yes it's better than using just the quest 2 speakers. Its clear but sounds like regular cheap headphones. The mic is ok. You still need to speak up. I think I can have better luck positioning it closer to my mouth. I would say it's ok for the price but don't expect it to be a huge boost.
