I got the FoodSaver VS3120, I absolutely love it. So easy to use. I love how you can change the settings for dry foods and moist foods. It has a spot that you can put a bag roll in and only cut and seal the size you need and you can use the precut bags. It has a handheld sealer that I use for veggies and fruits. The one handed latch is a bonus when you are sealing, so easy and convenient to close. It comes with a drip tray so your sealer is a easy clean up. This is a MUST have!!! When I received this a week ago I was so excited. I had been thinking of getting one of these on and off for years but always settled for cheaper less effective methods. Now I know that I was really missing something! From set up to seal this was as easy as it gets. We sous vide steaks in my house and it is always a pain trying to get air out of the sous vide bags with a hand pump and a prayer. This took away all of that hard work with a push of a button and less than 30 seconds of wait time (if you’re using the one time seal bags or even less time if you are going the resealable route using the enclosed vacuum tool). I really liked that we not only received the machine, but also so many extra open ended bags, resealable bags, and a roll to custom cut bags to the length that you need. This let me jump right into getting my meats prepped and ready without making another stop at a store or ordering them online. As a small family that likes to buy meats/fish to eat half and freeze half- this is gonna mean so much less freezer burn and time spent prepping.
