This is a relative environmentally friendly product which breaks down quickly when it comes into contact with soil. You need to use good water or it can affect the product, so mixing in other products is a bad idea. I do put in a little detergent (there are special ones available but dishwashing detergent is as good as any and only a few drops are required) to increase wetting which definitely helps with waxy leaved plants. I have used this product for over 30 years and one of its good atributes is that it does not affect soil fertility. It is not great for woody plants but that is an advantage when spraying around fruit trees etc. One other major advantage of this product is that it has very low toxicity compared to other products so with sensible safety practices most people should be fine. (I was a commercial grower for years and this product was easy to handle safely compared to triquat and similar products.)

My backyard was neglected for two years due to family illness and in the good ole Mississippi Gulf Coast, the rainfall allows for fast growth. I decided to tackle the yard this year that had weeds 5 feet high. It also had very thick "weed trees" with stalks that were 2-3 inches thick. Throw in a ton of thorny bushes and vines all over, and I had a real mess. I had to take one section at a time due to the height of the problem, but as of now I have half of the yard back and the other half dead or dying. I consider my case an extreme example of what Roundup can do. The key to it is that the main ingredient takes a good week or more to fully kill the problem depending on what type of weed it is. The other active ingredient damages the leaves themselves on contact which is used to confirm what was hit and what may need a follow-up. The main thing with this product is PATIENCE. It will take a full 10 days before you see major weed kill. Adding more of the product does not speed this up. If this product could take my yard back, it can do anything!

we have used Roundup for many years and have always had great results. when we have any unsightly weeds in the garden, sidewalks, driveway, etc. then with one simple application the weeds are gone.

I have always used roundup to control weeds and over grown grass. roundup kills in just a couple of days and i'm ready to plant again.

I use this for the weeds that grow around my driveway and in-between the pavers I have. It kills them all just as it says it will. Although it seems more expensive than other brands it does the job where I have had less success with the cheaper brands.

I can't live without Roundup, I have a fair size property and I spend most of my time keeping up my lawn and garden, the rest of my time is controlling the weeds. I think that weeds can grow out of rocks. I have been using Roundup for about eight years and it has never failed me. About every six weeks during the Summer and Fall, I am spraying and even pulling weeds. What I like the most; it goes to work immediatly and within 35 minutes it can't be washed off. Usually by the next day the weeds are starting to fade away. And it keeps working for six weeks or so.

I have been using this for a few years now. After application it does take a few weeks for everything to die off but not bad overall. I tried ground clear but after reading the fine print the stuff will kill roots of plants that are next to the weeds. So - this is the best stuff I have found that does the job.

I have used this product for a long time. It works great, helping me to keep weeds under control without having to pull them all the time. Works on both young weeds and more mature weeds.

I really like this product because I use it and in a couple of days the weeds are gone.
