This item is very well designed and nicely built. It has a very powerful magnet and it comes in a pair, plus there are four metal plates and a couple stickers available in different sizes that a person can choose to hold the device (mostly a smartphone or iPod) in place right on one of the vent sockets on the dashboard. So it does exactly what it says and as I realized it’s made very well but the only problem I have with this is when I am trying to take my device out of the magnet because most of the time the whole thing in coming out and I have to insert the holder back inside it’s place again. It’s not a problem on the product because for the size and the power of magnet it’s happening more likely and even before it arrives, I assumed I am going to see something like this. It’s just a simple physic and holder can’t enough friction to resist the opposite power to force it out and because of that when it’s attached to a device, it will remain right at it’s place (it doesn’t fall or even shake) so overall it’s a five stars product but the way it designed makes it a little bit less practical than it should.

I got these as a stocking stuffer for my Fiancé. He liked them but was having issues with the magnet and one of the phone cases.

Got these for my boyfriend and I--- for him because he's always driving us to new places with Google maps and for me so I can see more easily what music I'm playing while I drive. I love mine, but for him, finding a vent or proper place to clip it on in his car was difficult. Also, after using it for maybe only a week or so, his phone legit kicked the bucket and just wouldn't function at all. He was theorizing it had something to do with the magnets, which I could agree with, and he'd never had any similar problems before using it. He managed to get his phone replaced for no charge, but just beware!!! I haven't seen any others complain about this kind of problem so maybe it was just doomed timing on our part and it really was just his phone being broken without any influence from the magnets, but he does not use his anymore because of that incident. His phone is some newer model Android with a mile-long-name filled with numbers and letters I think. My phone, a Samsung Galaxy S5, hasn't had any similar problems. Sometimes I think it may function just a tad slower though again because of that magnet constantly being pressed right up against it by my phone case, but that is really probably just my imagination.

The idea is great. The only real problem I have with this is that the use of a single plate and magnet wasn’t sufficient enough to hold. Luckily it came with 2 sets of 2 plates and 2 magnets that attaches to a vent. I ended up using a set of plates and both magnets to allow it to hold. Unfortunately the product was created with a vent designed flushed with dashboard. So mine lays sideways instead being upright, I got over it lol. I give 4 stars because within the package I ended up using everything they’ve sent to make it work. This was used on an 8 plus with a silicone bumper skin. I will update with photos later

I wanted to like these. The concept is great. But... the mount broke one of the vents in my brand new Tahoe. It slides off of any of the vents I put it on when you pull the phone off. So while I want to like this and it does okay in my jeep. I’m looking for a new idea. Also, if you have a wireless charging pad it won’t work any longer if the magnet on your case. I didn’t think about that before putting it on. So now I have to take off my case every night which has lead to me cracking my phone because I dropped it before I put my case on one morning. Completely my fault but it adds salt in the wound.

Great magnet but not so good hold on the cars vent. But does hold my phone up while its on. Why 4 out of 5

So I needed an Iphone holder for GPS navigation for my 18 year old Subaru. No CD player so couldn't use those mounts. Tried a few dashboard mounted ones but I am so short many of them block my vision. Others were unstable and fell over (even though I read the reviews that said they would not fall over). I was dubious given the much lower price point of this air vent magnetic mount but after a few weeks of daily use, it is really getting the job done. It is easy to see (but does not block my vision). Good adhesion (has never fallen off). Easy to stick the magnet on to the back and my phone and strong enough to go through my silicon phone case. Does tilt downwards a bit rather than straight or upwards but it isn't bad to the point that you can't easily see it. Fort the price and the ease of use, this is a very good buy, esp if your car does not have a CD player and has a sloping dashboard.

Overall not bad, and pretty good for the price. Super strong suction power, but the face plate broke off after about 6 months and had to be replaced.

I have been using for a few days but desn't work with All air-con out put.
