Anytime you buy from the bottom shelf, you're aware that: it's probably going to work, but something's gonna be funky with it. In this case, yes, it works fantastically--lifuts are strong, buttons work, magnets pretty good.. however, the battery stinks. Only illuminates for about 30 minutes from a full charge. if that's all you need, great, this is a steal for you. If you need it for extended use (in my case, working on my car in the dark), spend the extra money and get something with a legitimate battery.

The magnet on this light is too Weak,, So it is constantly falling off..

Not the brightest light but the flexibility of the light is nice to get in small spotsLight indicator is nice not sure how long the lifespan is yet

The media could not be loaded. I opened the box and the clip broke the first 30 seconds

Others have noted that the USB charging ports may break away from the internal board.I purchased a 4-pack in March 2022 (18 months ago) and have not charged them more than about 10 times across all 4 lights, but one of the four has already had the metal recharging port snap off. That was relatively early in the charging attempts (perhaps the 3rd or 4th attempt among the 4 lights). Disassembly of the broken light revealed there was no way to re-solder or re-connect a new charging port as a do-it-yourself project.I've been very careful with the other three since that early port failure with no new breaks, but judging from the fragility of the design, it is only a matter of time before the others fail as well. From the appearance of the port connection to the board, i strongly recommend not wiggling the connector "up and down" during an insert or removal, and if at all possible only pull and push the external recharging cable straight in and out ... and to do so with as little or no sideways levering or twisting as possible. Because of that recharging port fragility, i've relegated these to 'backup' flashlights and not as my 'go-to'.This flaw has also made me gun-shy of all built-in fixed-port rechargeable flashlight options even though i'm certain there are a variety of other manufacturers that have independent designs. Without a unit in one's hands, it's unlikely one can discern from just pictures on a purchasing site whether the recharging port connector is robust or not.

Lights worked great for camping. We used 2 different trips charging before each trip. Now one of the lights does not work. It will only turn on when plugged into the charger. Not even 2 months worth of use before one of them broke. Hopefully the other light will last a little longer!

I like the swivel function on the light. magnet an light could both be a little stronger, but there OK. Don't care for the switch, you have to go thru all functions to turn it on and off. I only need the one function light on light off.

I like the design a lot. The first project I used them for I broke a hook and the end led on one of them quit.

Magnetic base is Ok, Light is adjustable. The little LED on the end is dim and overall battery life before requiring recharge is poor. But what do you expect for 9 bucks. If you just need a light to access a small space for a short time it's ok.

I didn't expect more than I got but I was still hoping for better.I didn't expect the battery to be very good and it isn't. I did expect to be able to replace it with something better but it is spot welded instead of using a spring clip for the electrical contacts like most the other cheap flashlights have. There is slick material over the magnet so even though it is reasonably strong, it will slide down if attached to a verticle surface. I'll peel it off and replace it with a rubberized piece of plastic when I find something thin enough to work. The "dome light" has only one brightness which isn't very bright.
