Coffee caused acne

I bought this coffee machine back in may, and as soon as I started drinking it daily I started to break out with acne….. I have been using it for about 6 months when I thought to stop drinking it….. and lo and behold my acne is going away! So incredibly disturbed with what can be in the coffee/pods causing acne. Now have a machine in my home with no use and tons of extra pods!

Cord is on the wrong side

Why would you put the cord on the same side as the water tank? Now the cord has to go around the back of the water tank to get plugged in and then when you pick the water tank up the cord falls onto the water tank platform you have to move it constantly. Such a bad design idea.

Returning immediately

I received this item as a Christmas present this year and was so excited to use it. Unfortunately it is defective and once you open it won’t close. I read the manual, watched videos, reset the machine and still it won’t close. I am sending it back this is ridiculous. Brand new out of the box and wasn’t even able to enjoy it. Idk how I’m going to fit it back in the box when the lid won’t even close

Manual lid lever constantly Stuck!!

Do not buy the Virtuo Next! The lid lever gets stuck constantly!!! You have to be the hulk to even attempt to get it open. The manual lever is the most annoying thing about the machine. There is no rhyme or reason to when it will work or when it will get stuck. Don’t waste your money on this machine.

Bad quality of machines and overpriced

All nesspresso machines are pieces of junk. I could explain, I am user of different machines, and every time I ordered new because left over cofee. My last machine is leaking now and I try to fix it , clean it and it is still leaking. Very disappointed with overpriced Nespresso and very bad quality. In one word - Junk.

Terrible quality machines

I am on my second of these machines and now both have malfunctioned. My first started leaking, then stopped working completely. Now my second won’t brew and flashes red at me. I’ve tried everything. I maintain them carefully, using filtered water and descaling regularly. They are not built to last. I won’t be buying another. It’s a shame because I love the coffee and the convenience.

Buy any other model

I have had three of these machines break in three years - it's not worth it. Invest in any other model; do not get this one. It makes good coffee, but I'm sure the others do too! Spend the little extra money for a VertuoPlus so you don't have to deal with all of the random errors and frustration of trying to get a replacement.

Poor product

Coffee is great but machine is crap. Lousy engineering. I did required maintenance and went through numerous lengthy troubleshooting sessions with machine support. They were able to get the machine working every time only for it to fail again. I got a replacement Vertuo Next last year but this one didn't even last as long as the first one before it started failing. The latest round of troubleshooting with Machine support was yesterday and the machine only worked for one day this time. Don't waste your time and money on Vertuo Next. Go with another model to save yourself some pain.

Great Cup of Coffee - When it Works

This machine produces a great cup of coffee - when it works. You need to expect to get a year, maybe two out of it before it fails and needs replacing. I’m on my 3d machine in 3 years. The first failed because the optical mechanism that reads the coffee pods failed. The second got stuck in the descaling mode and just gave me the dreaded orange flashing light you’ll read about in other reviews. The machine just isn’t built well enough to handle daily use, which is a pity. I stick with it because the coffee is so good not because I’m mentally defective. Besides, in my experience most coffee makers aren’t up to the task any more anyway. It’s a choice between which defective machine gives you the best coffee for the longest period of time, in my opinion.

Awful— gets stuck and won’t open

I’ve had this for a little over 2 years and it’s the worst! I can’t ever use it because it’s stuck and will not open. I’ve tried everything and when it finally does open it does it again. It’s a vicious cycle we paid all this money just for it to never work. I’ve used it maybe 10x since I got it. It’s not even worth the hassle. Just fry instant espresso, that’s never let me down.
