This machine makes delicious coffee; when it works. We’ve had this machine for 1.5 years and now we are having problem everyday. Constant yellow or red flashing lights. We keep cleaning and descaling and the late will not stop flashing. At this point we are just wasting pods trying to get the thing to work.

When it works it’s great. However it’s wasn’t even a year and I had to send it in for repair. 4 months later it broke again. So we bought the pop. It’s starting with the same no. Sense. These machines have great coffee. BUT they are not built to last and the warranty is GARBAGE. We are now considering switching to a ninja. 4 Nespresso machines later. ( within 3 years ) RIDICULOUS do better

I have had my machine two years. It makes very good coffee and I use it once or twice a day. It is very clean and we do not have hard water so descaling is not an issue. It performs as expected except for the opening and closing mechanics. At first, it opened and closed smoothly with little effort. For the second year, it has gradually become harder to close to the point where it is a real struggle requiring a lot of hand strength. I will not buy another Next when this one is impossible for me to open and close, even though I love the coffee. I wish there was a fix for this problem.

I like the double espresso pods the best for this machine. The larger coffee pods taste watery to me. Double espresso pods work best for an iced coffee. Easy to clean.

Nice quiet machine with large water tank. Huge problem with machine design is the convex cup holding tray. Even Nespresso's own cappuccino cups will not stay on tray and vibrate off due to shape of machine in cup area. Disastrous when cup is filling with coffee and crashes all over your kitchen!

While I do love this machine when it works. I’ve had two of these machines and they’ve both broke. The first time, I was sent a new one (4 months ago and broke again) this time, due to the first time being an exception(even though it’s their machine that broke), now i have to send this one in to be repaired and I’m without a coffee machine for who knows how long. I’m tempted to go with a different brand because of this. How can this machine keep breaking? Note: I descale regularly and I’m an obsessantly clean person.

I had this machine for over a year now it works fine… however closing it is a pain and for the price it should be smoother

I haven’t made coffee in it yet but I just cleaned it out and this thing is loud. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like this, but I might return it.

This is a good machine, but stopped working after 9 months. I see that this is not uncommon.

I've had four Vertuo Next machines. I use the Next because it will takes the large capsules. All of them made great coffee. But each has failed within a year of purchase or exchange. When I tired of refurbished units, I just bought one again. IT LEAKS WATER all over the counter unless I pour in water just before brewing. The lever used to open and close the machine worked effortlessly at first. But within a few months it became harder and harder to move to the point now where I have to force it. VERY UNHAPPY!
