The machine did arrive with a small scratch right in the front, but the inconvenience of repackaging and returning seemed more trouble than the scratch was worth

One lasted less than year. Ridiculous. So I just bought another one. I can't be without it! But if either one I have breaks again, I probably won't replace them. Too much $ to keep replacing.

Only problem we've had is programming the machine for a longer brew (more coffee) and it didn't seem to stick. I need to review the directions and try again. Our original Vertuo was made by Breville and I have to say their instructions are better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from the vertuo next because it leaked. - (Although I preferred the look of The Next vs the deluxe ). However, the deluxe is quiet and the automatic opening is so nice ! Makes great coffee but could be hotter!
