[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd air fryer but my 1st looks more like a convection oven. My fiancée described this one as a “space age egg” I’d say that accurately describes its appearance. XL is not a lie because this is quite large & takes up a good amount of counter space. Maybe I’m just used to my other one but it feels like it’s harder to figure out settings on this one. It came with a recipe book, which I am excited to try out. Currently, I’ve just been making tried and true processed frozen food in it. So far, time and temp has been the same between the 2 so I like that I don’t need to play around with the settings too much because they are the same as with the other one. Honestly, I don’t know that I could live without one now. I have 2 kids and unfortunately, they are chicken nugget kids, that are super picky and don’t like variations to their food choices. An air fryer at least gives me the peace of mind to know those chicken nuggets aren’t saturated in oil to be made!

It is an air fryer, keeps food warm, bakes, broil, and roast. I have only used the air fryer. I cooked fries and wings. For my first attempt, it came out pretty good. The fries and wings were crispy. It also has preset buttons. The preset buttons are chicken, pizza, fries, fish, cake, shrimp, and a meat buttons. It also has an auto shut off. I like it .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great basic air fryer. 8 quart basket has lots of room, and there are a lot of presets that you can use for french fries, pizza, etc. or you can adjust time and temperature to suit your needs. If you haven't used an air fryer before you are in for a treat. Literally everything tastes better and is HEALTHIER from an air fryer. Great for everything from cooking a steak, to warming up pizza. Best appliance I own.

I love the way the food is cooked and how easy it is to clean. I love how you dont have to use oil and food cooks thoroughly and quickly. The touch screen is awesome to know exactly what temps it is at.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well. Easy to read screen with lots of cooking presets. It’s very big but to be expected with 8quarts. It doesn’t seem like the basket is much bigger than my 5 quart but it is taller. I can’t wait to try a whole chicken in it. It’s very sleek looking. So far we have cooked chicken wings, chicken breasts and french fries and they came out great. This would make for a very good gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This PowerXL air fryer has some really nice features and cooks well, but there is still room for improvement in my opinion. For the pros, it cooks efficiently and evenly. I’ve tried all sorts of foods from thick to thin, meats to seafood, and everything in between. The food comes out equally cooked on all sides with the perfect amount of crisp and crunchiness. I also love not having to heat up my large oven just to bake a small dish. This air fryer preheats much quicker and is much more efficient. The 8 quart basket gives plenty of room to cook large amounts of food. I have a family of 4 and can usually cook an entire meal all at once. There are, however, a few areas of improvement that I think can be made. The first is the aesthetics. It has a funky shape to it and I find the black and silver combo doesn’t mesh well in my kitchen. I feel it can be redesigned to look a bit more classy and modern. Also, I find it’s a bit heavy. I wish there was a way to make it a lighter because moving it can be a pain if you’re not very strong. I also wish the cooking basket had separate compartments or levels. When cooking certain meals, having something to separate the foods (fish and chips, for example) instead of piling it all in one basket would be more convenient. Overall, this is a reliable air fryer that does cook very well. The presets and touch controls make it easy to customize your cooking preferences and will cook a good amount of food at once. I would recommend this PowerXL air fryer to others.

The SmartTech capability allows you to control, monitor, and schedule your meals from your smartphone, which is very helpful and keeps things modern. I'm absolutely in love with this and would recommend having one yourself.

They have all turned out delicious. If you're on the wall about one just go ahead and get one you won't regret it.
